On last week's poll I asked how many nail polishes you have in your collection.
Here were the results:
20-50: 21%
50-100: 16%
100-200: 27%
200-300: 6%
300+: 18%
It was across the board with 100-200 winning with 27%. I found it funny how there was a big gap between the 100-200 and the 300+. I'd say 100-200 is a big collection while 300+ is huge I guess there aren't many people in the in between stage of that.
I have to admit. I am in the huge category. I actually thought I was in the 200-300 range until I recently recounted. I currently have 344 bottles of nail polish not counting top coats and base coats. That number seems insane to me, and probably sounds even more insane to non-nail polish people. So lets just keep this between us? I told my dad this number and he jokingly told me I was a "beginner".

Sorry had to thrown in some Little Mermaid in there. This can go two ways. You're either going to like it or think I'm certifiable :P! I realize now the way I laid out my polish looks like alien crop circles. LOL. Oh well, there ya go!

ReplyDeleteI think I have around 100 but I'm always getting rid of old bottles and replacing them too so my collection stays around the same size I think. I'm limited by my lack of storage space!
I've got over 600 and have 15 zoyas and 3 avons in the mail to me... God help me! Kinda ridiculous. Plan to cull the ones I try and don't like.

ReplyDeleteMy spreadsheet states 380+ polishes, but I haven't updated it in a while (I got a ton of polishes in, but I also tossed polishes out of my helmer into the swapping basket).. And they multiply like rabbits!
I think the huge discrepancy is that once you have 200 polishes, getting to 300 is EASY! The addiction takes on a life of its own..LOL!

Love your crop circles! I haven't counted mine in a while so I have NO IDEA! Maybe I will do that this weekend? Now I know why we didn't IM much yesterday....it wasn't about your computer at all...you were arranging your lacquers and taking pictures. LMAO!

*chuckles* on the crop circles. I think the layouts are cool and would make nice posters for the wall. I guess you don't have pets, since there are none plopped down in the middle of the layout. lol :)
