First, I want to apologize. I will be lacking in posts this week or well substantial posts this week. I have an enormous amount of school work to complete by Thursday. My parents are coming to visit this weekend, so I'm going to cram and try and get everything done before they get here. I'll probably lack in tweeting, reading blogs, and replying to comments to, so please forgive me. :)
Today I have for you China Glaze Bad Kitty. Bad Kitty came out last fall with a ton of other speciality glitters by China Glaze. I have love/hate relationship with these glitters in this collection. I absolutely love the selection and all the different glitters offered, but the formula at least on me does not wear very well. I find these polishes to be bumpy and chip easily. :(
Bad Kitty
This was around 4 coats. This maybe better suited for layering, but I think it can work either way. Bad Kitty is a strawberry pink sheer/jelly-like base packed wtih chunky iridescent glitter. I love the color and the sparkle. You have no complaints from me in that department. However, as I said before this doesn't wear well on me with my regular routine of base coat and top coat. I find it chips very easily and the base of the polish is definitely more sheer than jelly like making the polish appear uneven on the nails.
What are some of your favorite China Glaze glitters from this collection?
Happy Tuesday!
Good luck with the work. I love this polish. The concept and the name. I don't have it though. Not yet.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what all came with that collection - I just started this polish obsession in April. LOL This one's pretty, but I know what you mean about their glitters being bumpy. It is pretty though.
ReplyDeleteThis is very pretty! I don't have any of this collection.

I've got loads of the glitters from that collection, including Bad Kitty and I found them all problematic! I've started layering them over 2 coats of Eyeko Petite Polish and its magically solved everything. They all go on fine at 2 coats now, much smoother too and last a lot better.

ReplyDeleteYou have to do what you have to do. I hope you have a fun weekend with your parents and are able to keep up with your schoolwork. Whenever you find time to post, we'll be here to read and comment.
I just got my first China Glazes. I went to Sally Beauty Supply and they had two bottles of Golden Enchantment on the clearance table. I was so excited! They were only 1.99 each! I haven't tried it yet, but did check what other bloggers had to say and it sounds like this one is best as a top coat too. Or rather since it's in a clear and sheer base, I'll never get it opaque on it's own. I don't mind, it's dazzling and will be great over some of my cremes and otherwise boring or yucky polishes. It's a shimmering rainbow bottle of pizazz!
Now this I like:) Super duper sparkles!
