I miss the rain! It hasn't rained here in a long time. It usually rains everyday in summer, but in winter we got weeks without rain. I'm craving a good thunderstorm. In honor of my need for rain here is a great China Glaze color I found recently. I hope it will bring me some rain.
Rain Storm
Rain Storm is a light periwinkle blue shimmer with sparse blue and silver glitter.
The glitter in this makes this color original. It's subtle, but still noticeable. This is a beautiful shade of blue. It's very spring-like. My only issue with this one is it is very sheer. This was around 3-4 coats which isn't terrible, but once you get to 4 coats that's a lot for me. You could definitely layer it over a color like Sally Hansen Pacific Blue or a similar periwinkle creme to lessen the number of coats of Rain Storm.
Happy Monday!
I don't know why, but that seems like a great color for the first Monday of the year! Happy New Year! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the background btw!
this is so pretty! I got it a while ago and it was so sheer that I've never worn it. Looks like it's worth building up though!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great color!! I don't know that I've seen it around. I hope the rain comes my direction (the real stuff and the polish).
ReplyDeleteive never seen or heard of this before?! thats why i love blogs, so many gems uncovered!
ReplyDeletePretty! I've never seen this before.
ReplyDeleteapplepark- Thanks :). I had fun making this background.
ReplyDeleteJen-I think it's definitely worth the buildup even though that can be a pain in the butt.
Megan- Thanks! I'm not sure if this was part of some collection or not. It's available on etailers.
cathryn- I'm glad I found this one. I got it a flea market and first thought it was some rare polish. It's actually not rare and it's available online for around $3-$5.
Serena- Thanks :)
