China Glaze Hey Sailor

Happy Memorial Day to all those in the US! Today, my bf and I are having little BBQ. We're having ribs, hamburgers, pasta salad, and baked beans. I like holidays that give you a reason to cook a meal you typically wouldn't make. Today, I have for you a red from the China Glaze Anchors Away collection.

Hey Sailor
Hey Sailor is a bright pin-up cherry red creme.

I love reds, especially red cremes, so this one is great in my book! It's vibrant and hot. I think this one would be flattering on many skin tones as well. I'd say it's a classic you can't go wrong kind of red!

    This looks almost identical to Zoya Sooki, which I love. Have a great time at your cookout! My partner and I made some polish boys, corn on the cob, and a fruit salad yesterday because he has to work today.

    Love that color!
    I was supposed to be off today, but after four fatalities in the two counties I dispatch 911 for, one of my co workers (who knew some of the people involved in one of the fatal accidents) was a little frazzled by the end of yesterday so I offered to cover his shift. So its work for me!

    Love this red! Is it a true red, no orange or pink tones?

    Hmmmm, I don't want to give you wrong information. I wouldn't call it 100% true red. It does lead a tinge, and I emphasize tinge to the orange side. It's definitely not a red-orange.  I wouldn't even notice this really unless I really was analyzing it. Does this make sense?
