Color Club What A Shock

Sometimes, there are colors you just look at, and you can't help but say "This isn't gonna happen!". I try to be open-minded with colors. If nail polish were free, I'd gladly try any color, but since it's not I do have some limitations. This Color Club is one of those instances where I just draw the line. This one came in a set of other pretty colors, so that's the only reason I have it!

What A Shock
What A Shock is a neon green shimmer.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this color, as a color. In fact, I really love it. I'd love this color as a lamp shade, toothbrush (I actually do have neon green toothbrush), pencil, and etc. This just as a nail polish color on me is just a major no, unless it's Halloween. I don't have a problem with other people wearing this color, just not me. Neons are probably the only finish of polish I'm really shy about. Green polish in general can be iffy with me. The combination of these two doesn't make for a good mix. I can't help but think of radioactive snot, I just don't find it flattering at all.

    I know what you mean about certain colors just not being meant for nail polish. Thats how I feel about deep browns. I like this but, like you, idk if its suited for my nails lol.

    As a lampshade she says....LMAO!!!! I feel like that about neon green too. I won't do yellows, teals, greens and blues. Dark greens and dark blues (and I mean dark dark) are the exception. On a more positive note, the application came out nice!

    Bahahaha... I literally lol'd at "radioactive snot" and woke Chris up. Oops.

    I kind of have to agree.. I LOVE neons. Love them.. And I buy almost every one I see but I never wear neon yellows, oranges or greens. And I have a ton of them. I'm putting myself on a neon-buying-ban for a while until I can learn to wear them.

    This is the first neon that actually turned me ON to neons.  Gorgeous!!!  I love using it as a pedi color.

    I find that I don't buy too many greens, either. And neons unless it's for a pedi.

    Neons are my FAVORITE. Neon greens especially. They're pretty much my weakness. That and ugly greens that my stepdad hates.. I know you aren't a fan of those either.
