Thanks to everyone who voted. This was fun!
Happy New Year!
Great lists! I love the pie charts, too! I can't remember what I selected for a lot of the categories, but I feel like the results are pretty spot-on. Man, 2011 was a GREAT year for Revlon, wasn't it?! Hope they can keep it up in 2012 and I'd like to see Maybelline make a comeback, too! They used to have such awesome polishes.
ReplyDeleteHave to admit I'm a little shocked that UP/Clairvoyant only got 6 votes for best polish! After seeing it on EVERYONE's favorite list, I figured it'd be higher up on the top polish list for sure. Oh well, that's what keeps it interesting, I suppose. :)
Hope you had a great NYE.

Where was I during this voting?! Lol, oh well, always next year. I'll just have my fun here in the comments...I liked the ChG Anchors Away best for Spring, Zoya Smoke & Mirrors for fall, The Serena Williams sets are my favorite secondary OPI. Best overall brand obviously would have to be Zoya, love them! I personally think Revlon is the best recently recognized brand...they really stepped it up this year. I actually did and still do like the crackle trend. I dont know why, just do.
ReplyDeleteSadly I didn't vote, because my interest in nail polish really started to grow only a few months ago. I wasn't really 'there' yet when most collections came out. Also, I'm not familiar with some brands and definitely not with the drugstores xD I wish we had the American drugstores though, because they seem awesome and big :P
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty pleased with the results though. China Glaze as best brand and Fowl Play polish favorite. China Glaze and Color Club are probably my favorite brands and yesterday I got Fowl Play xD
This post reminded me how many awesome colors there were this year! This is why my wishlist grows daily, lol:-) I can't wait for the 2012 collections coming soon!
ReplyDeleteAnd idk why, but I never liked crackle either.
Very cool post! Last year was a great one for polish lovers.
ReplyDeleteLast year was a decent year for polish. I can't wait to see what 2012 has in store for us. I think I am going to start saving for future collections now :)
ReplyDeleteLook at you and your geeky pie charts!!! Very nice-bet that took a lot of work!
ReplyDeleteThis is so awesome!!! My picks did well! They were: Anchor's Away, Sunshine/Summertime, Birds of a Feather, Let it Snow, Nice Stems, Eye Candy, and Mineral FX. Best overall - China Glaze, New - Lynnderella, HIgh End - Illamasqua, Drugstore - Wet 'n Wild followed very closely by Revlon. I am cracked out on crack - initially it was exciting and fun but I got over it pretty fast. I am way more excited by the burgeoning trends of the new year: flakies, magnetics, more glitters, holos, duochromes... It should be a great year for polish! :D
