I first became familiar with LA Splash nail polish at Ulta. It took me awhile to figure out they were actually nail polish though. The bottles are shaped more like lip glosses! Once I figured it what they really were I became a fan. They have a great selection of unique glitters. The sad thing is they no longer are selling this polishes at Ulta, however, they are still sold on Cherry Culture. This one is one of my favorites.
Ocean Fairy
Ocean Fairy is a deep teal jelly with aqua and gold glitter.
This is a stunning polish. I think glitters in a jelly base are some of my favorite glitters. I prefer them over glitter bombs (the straight up glitter in clear base) by far. The formula on this is a bit thick and dries kind of gritty. That is to be expected though with some glitter polishes. It isn't anything a few extra coats of top coat can't fix!
Happy Wednesday!
I have a few LA Splash polishes, and I love them :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!
ReplyDeleteHave to say I adore that colour! Such a pity they don't have that polish here in Sweden. Oh well can't have everything :)
ReplyDeleteOoh, I like this. I only have one LA Splash polish, Ocean Sprinkles, but it is really awesome! I want so many of their glitters.
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty. I too thought they were lip glosses at first when I saw them at Duane Reade.
ReplyDeleteI wasn't sure of these either, but when I saw them on a clearout sale for $1.24 each I picked up the 5 different ones they still had and look forward to trying them out. Sadly "Ocean Fairy" wasn't one of the ones I found. :( It looks beautiful on your nails!
ReplyDeleteI love them too. They're selling now at Harmon Beauty.
ReplyDeleteOoh, pretty!! I have a couple of these polishes. Mine are Golden Seahorse and Sparkling Ocean Spray. I found them at Fred Meyer.
ReplyDeleteHmm.. I've never heard of this brand before but I really love this color. I'm on a teal kick these days ;o) Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Need to order some of theeese
ReplyDeleteOh wow, this is so pretty, I am very jealous, off to Cherry Culture I go.. I never saw this at any of the 3 Ulta's near me how long ago did they discontinue selling it?
ReplyDeleteNot having an ULTA - and when I was in the LA area for surgery and a long 8.5 post op period when they would not let me leave the area - I looked on line but no ULTAs even reasonably close to where I was - not that I was up to going shopping - I never went anywhere but the pharmacy & hospital clinics & Trader Joes 1 time! Thus have not hear of this brand...be fun to have an ULTA around me someday! This shade looks great on you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great site you gave us a link for....they actually have swatches that LOOK like what the polish will be when you order it and it arrives!!! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I had to take a couple of extra looks before I realized they were polishes too when I first saw them in stores. FYI, you can still find them at Harmon stores! :D
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
