Revlon Electric
Electric is warm yellow shimmer.
This looks HORRID on me. I love the idea of yellow polish, but majority of the time they look bad on me. Yellow is definitely the color I have the least of in my polish collection. I think I currently have 2, this one has already been swapped or sold. Yellow also tends to have so many formulation issues. The formula in this one was actually quite good. If you have a warmer or darker skin tone I bet his would look great on you. On me on the other hand....yuck!

Yellow is definitely my least favorite color as well. I could never wear another yellow polish for the rest of my life and I'd be fine with it ;P

Yeah, yellow is hard to pull off! Especially yellows like this. I only have a couple two. My favorite is Orly's Spark, and I think it actually looks good on me. It's a nice butter yellow with subtle shimmer.

ReplyDeleteOh, I so feel your pain! I love, love bright yellow nail polish, but they look so gross on me. I own 2 yellows, and both are mustard-y, that's as close as I can come to true yellow!
ReplyDeleteI have Electric and I love it! But you're right, yellow polish is definitely quite unforgiving if you have a cooler/lighter skin tone.

ReplyDeleteAwww, I dont' think it looks that bad on you but I know how you feel. I have so many teals but most of them are awful on me, lol.

ReplyDeleteI can't do the mustard shades. The only ones I can semi pull off are the really pale yellows like Sinful Colors Unicorn. I love that yellow, but the formula is crap.

ReplyDeleteI so wish I could pull off wearing yellow polishes. I get them on and look sick! Seems they have to really lean super gold or like Dijon mustard for me to pull off a yellow. I feel you pain. This one actually does not look bad on you I don't think. It's when they lean chalky or pastel yellow I think not!
