Coastal Surf
Coastal Surf is bright and light sky blue creme.
You NEED this. I'm calling it a must have. This color is gorgeous. I love a great blue. I first thought this maybe dupey to Sally Hansen Blew Me Away, but Coastal Surf is lighter. The formula on this is divine. I'm so used to average-good formula, that when I get polish with amazing formula I notice it instantly. It is very pigmented and applies like butter. It is a 2 coater easily. Plus, Coastal Surf is an awesome polish name. Then again, I love anything ocean related. I'd have to say my first experience with Revlon Colorstay polish is a great one. I'm glad my dodo brain finally realized these were not some high tech polish for polish wizards.
Happy Friday!
That looks amazing! I have to find it!
ReplyDeleteWow. That is blue. Trouble is I reckon it would give me terrible lobster-hands! Just don't think I could rock it. What a shame....
ReplyDeleteHahah..too funny! I haven't tried these yet (mostly because they tend to be more expensive than "regular" Revlons and it irritates me!) but if I get a coupon or sale, I'm trying this color! It looks super on you!
ReplyDeleteIf you live in Texas HEB currently has a 2.75 off coupon for all Revlon products. My local HEB has the color stays for 4.79 (under 5.00) so you can score it for dirt cheap!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you mentioned Blew me Away, I think that color on toes and the Costal Surf on fingers would be fantastic!
Wow, this blue is amazing! Yes, a must have! :)
ReplyDeleteYou always have such pretty colors LOVE this color.
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh Steph, that is an AMAZING blue!! :O
ReplyDeleteI've been eyeing this color for a while, but I keep convincing myself I have too much blue. Of course I ended up getting Yummy from Zoya during the Earth Day promo :P (it's supppsed to be pretty dupe-y). I still like the name Coastal Surf better, but Yummy is cute too :D
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I haven't picked any of these new Revlons, but you might have convinced me to pick up this one! It's lovely.
ReplyDeleteI have an urge to layer China Glaze White Cap over that for some reason. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteI have fallen in love with these. They last and last on me. I have to take them off only because the growth line bugs me. I do an extra color layer about 7 days into wear and a couple new shine coats of SV. I don't use the base or top coat from this new Colorstay line - bought them but found what I use works better - which is usually Orly Nail Armor Base (don't use Orly Bonder with these - it's too rubbery and makes the color pop off like they are press on nails)...and then I use SV topper. This shade you are showing today is in my top 3 fav shades from this line.
ReplyDeleteThat would be pretty over this shade - or maybe just sponging the tips in a gradient with White Cap!
ReplyDeleteI like the way you think!
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous colour!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, this is beautiful! I don't usually like blue polish on me, but this just looks so bright and happy! And I had also shied away from these polishes, but I'm glad to hear they don't require anything special!
ReplyDeleteI just got this one, and it's my first Colorstay as well. I haven't worn it yet, but I've been craving a bright, light blue ever since the weather started warming up. I'm glad to hear this one should scratch the itch.
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous blue and it looks lovely on you! It's too bright for me though. Don't think it would go well with my skin tone :(. I'll enjoy it on you ;0).
ReplyDeleteI really like this color! It is the perfect balance of bright, neon, and pastel all mixed into one. And don't feel bad about not realizing you could just use them as a regular polish; I thought for the longest time that you had to use the basecoat and topcoat as part of the "system". I didn't realize until I saw them on another blog that you didn't need to use them all together. ;)
ReplyDeleteBEautiful sky blue shade! I like it!
ReplyDeleteLovely color. Was searching for a swatch to decide if I want to buy. I love the name too... am going to purchase. Thank you! :)
