Lagoon Afternoon
This is basically the exact same color as China Glaze Hanging in the Balance.
Color: Nice pigmented blue! The color is nice, but it's not original.
Formula: HORRIBLE! The formula was thin, messy, and flooded my cuticles. This applied unevenly and streaky. Yuck. Terrible.
Price: I don't remember exactly, but I think I paid around $5 for this at Walgreens.
Overall: Pass on this one. If you want a color like this go with the China Glaze version. The formula is better. I know the China Glaze will be more expensive in stores, but I think the higher price is worth it. I really can't find any redeeming qualities on this one. Well, the name is cute? Still, not worth it!
My Rating: 1 out of 5 Paint Splatters
Yeah, I gave it one paint splatter for the name. Haha.
Happy Thursday!
That is a lovely blue! I love blues. I used to worry they would make me look dead, but they don't lol
ReplyDeleteI will hold out for the CG dupe for this one LOL. At least the name got it one paint splatter!!!
ReplyDeletePretty color! Bummer about the formula, though, good thing there are lots of similar colors with better formulas :)
ReplyDeleteIts a great color but good to know its not as good as the China Glaze one.
ReplyDeleteLove that there's a dupe for this but sad you had to endure flooded cuticles to figure out which was better. That's always lame!
ReplyDeleteSuch a bummer it's a dupe, and a lousy one too! But the color indeed is lovely :).
ReplyDeleteUgh lovely blue but sucks for the formula.
ReplyDeleteIt is such a pretty color! It's sad that the formula sucks :( I hate when polishes are like that!
ReplyDeletegorgeous color, too bad about the formula for sure.
