Favorite Products of the Week:
ScentSationals Zen Scented Wax Cubes- I've been into these wax melts for the past couple months. If you're someone who gets bored of candle scents after awhile and is looking for an affordable way to switch up scents, go the wax melt route! Zen is dupe to Bath & Body Works Eucalyptus Spearmint. The scent is very soothing and calming, and this wax cube fills a whole room with scent. I got this for $2 at Walmart or Walmart Neighborhood Market.
c.Booth Mimosa Honeysuckle Body Souffle- I'm terrible at describing scents, but this smells like Hawaii. This has a nice mixture of beachy and floral scent, very refreshing. The body souffle is amazing. The texture is creamy and thick without being heavy and greasy. This scent lingers nicely on the skin too. This can be found for $7.99 on the Freeman Beauty website.
Coastal Scents Revealed 2- I adore this eyes hadow palette and use it probably 4-5 times a week. I love the balance of colors here. You have some beautiful rose golds, soft golds, coppers, taupes, and more. You also have a nice mix of a shimmer and matte shades. The formulation of these eye shadows are excellent and just as good as Urban Decay's Naked palette shades as far as I'm concerned. This can be purchased at Coastal Scents website for $20.
New to me Products of the Week:
John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Colour Portecting Moisturising Shampoo- This product isn't 100% new to me. I used to use this in high school, but that was over 10 years ago! I recently stripped the red (colored) out of my hair and had it dyed a medium brown. I know sulfate free shampoos are the way to go for color protection, but I have yet to find a sulfate free shampoo that doesn't do wonky things with my hair. I LOVED the moisturizing component of this shampoo. I noticed that off the bat. This let my hair feeling silky. I didn't have any hair color run after I shampooed with this, but it's too early to tell how well my hair color holds up with this. So far, so good though.
Aveda Clove Color Conditioner- This product isn't 100% new to me either. I have used other color versions, but not the Clove version is new to me. As I mentioned above, I recently had my hair dyed a medium brown. I want to keep it that way, so this color depositing conditioner really does the trick! I've used this in the red (Madder Root) and black (Black Malva) versions in the past per recommendation from my hairstylist, and they tremendously helped to preserve my hair color. So far, Clove is doing the same for my brown. I apply this to my hair after shampooing and leave it on for 5-10 minutes. This will stain your hands and shower though so be careful! This is $19 on the Aveda website.
The Body Shop Atlas Mountain Rose EDT- I love rose scent perfumes. My favorite was L'Occitane Roses et Reines EDT. I'm out of that and it's $55 which is out of my budget. I purchased this The Body Shop Atlas Mountain Rose EDT when it was 40% off. I really love the scent of this, it's a very nice pure rose scent without being overly stuffy or frilly. This pairs nicely with the Nuance Salma Hayek RoseHip body lotion I mentioned last week. This is $25 on The Body Shop website, but they always have B2G1, B3G2, X% off deals going on all the time.
Happy Sunday!
That eyeshadow palette looks awesome! I might have to go order that haha
