Zoya Zanna

I may have spoken too soon when I said I was starting to fall off the nude/neutral polish train. Nope, that's not the case. After a few weeks of playing with some bolder colors, I wanted to retreat to some neutrals again! I found a Zoya one I really like for the upcoming spring season. I purchased this one during Zoya's Black Friday sale back in November.

Zanna
Zanna is a muted light rose-mauve creme.

Color: I love this shade of pink. It's not your typical pale sheer pink or baby pink. It's not too nude or skin tone like of a pink either. It's a medium soft cool pink that does make a statement, but it's still muted enough to read as a neutral. I hope that makes sense! It goes with anything which I appreciate these days as I don't change my nails as often anymore.

Formula: This had a nice and easy to use formula. I used 2 coats above.

Price: This is $10 on the Zoya website.

Overall: It's rare my mani coincides with the review I post that day, but I've been wearing this color for a few days and I'm in love! When I look down at my nails I'm really happy with how this color just makes me feel put together. It's simple, but it's pretty too! I appreciate colors like this because of the simplicity factor.

Zoya Normani

You know I've been on a nude-neutral kick for the past several months. I think I'm going to say it's officially dissipating. I still love these colors, but I'm starting to branch out and want a more variety of colors now. I was wearing nudes probably 90% of the same since late summer. I was in it hardcore. Whilst in my hardcore nude-neutral kick I did manage to pick up some more colors from Zoya and I have one of those to share with you today.

Normani
Normani is a sable mauve cream.

Collection: Zoya Naturel Collection 2014

Color: I used to want nothing to do with taupe-y colors like this one. I thought they all looked terrible me, but like any color, it's about finding the right tone. This one is flattering on me I think. It has more purple to it than brown which is why I think it works better. I also like that it's a medium shade so it's not too nude-y.

Formula: This had a nice and easy to use formula. I used 2 coats above.

Price: This is $10 on the Zoya website

Overall: This a solid great neutral color. It's pretty and flattering color. The formula was nice, and it's just all around nice. There isn't much more to say about it.

Zoya Serenity

I have a Zoya polish to share with you today I picked up during the Black Friday sale. I was going to say recent sale, but Black Friday was nearly 3 months ago, but it certainly doesn't feel that long! Where does time go? I picked up this color because it caught my eye, but I'm not as enthused about it as I thought I would be.

Serenity
Serenity is described as a summer purple reminiscent of beautiful blooming irises, a harbinger of summer.

Collection: Zoya Island Fun Summer 2015

Color: This is a beautiful color. I will not discredit this color in that sense. It's one of those bright blurple cremes you really can't go wrong with it. On that note, this is a color I've seen before. It feels very "samey" if that makes sense. I will say the more I look at the more I love it. Let's just say I'm conflicted. It's beautiful, but it's not really innovative?

Formula: This had a great formula was really nice on this polish. It was creamy and easy to apply. I used 2 coats above.

Price: This is $10 on Zoya's website.

Overall: I feel like my opinion on this color is changing the more I write this review. I'm liking it more and more I look at it. I think it is a solid staple color and I don't see this being a color many will dislike. I just think if you're nail polish collector like myself you may have something like this in your collection already. I can't really fault it, but I wish I was more excited about it than I am? This review is very unhelpful. I am sorry!

Zoya Rocky

How about a pretty blue to brighten things up midweek? I picked up this color during Zoya's Black Friday sale. I've been on a creme kick lately and this polish from a summer collection a few years back caught my eye.

Rocky
Rocky is a medium soft blue creme.

Collection: Zoya Stunning Collection Summer 2013

Color: This is a sky blue shade to me and who doesn't love those? It's rich and vibrant while still being a softer color. This is a great blue!

Formula: The formula on this was OK. I used 2 coats above. I didn't find it self-leveled as much as I'd like it to, but it wasn't a bad formula either.

Price: This is $10 on the Zoya website

Overall: This is a gorgeous sky blue shade. I love colors like this and they will never go out of trend. The formula wasn't my favorite but wasn't bad. It's overall pretty good, but not my favorite based on formula.

Zoya Debbie

I was really excited when I found out Zoya was releasing another Naturel collection. Before, I got into my nude/neutral kick I was never interested in previous collections, but lately, I've been making up for lost time picked quite a few up during the Black Friday sale. The Naturel 3 collection was released after the fact but during a recent sale I picked up one of the new colors.

Debbie
Debbie is a plum brown creme.

Collection: Zoya Naturel 3 2016

Color: I was really curious about this color because on some people it pulls more brown and others it pulls more purple. I was hoping for the latter with me and I'm happy that's the result I got. I think it will depend on your skin tone which way it will pull for you. It's really an interesting color that I love. It's rich and deep but still very neutral. I like how Zoya explores deeper neutral tones.

Formula: Excellent 2 coat formula. This was very smooth and buttery to apply.

Price: This is $10 on the Zoya website.

Overall: I love Debbie it's a beautiful rich shade that neutral and still can go with everything. The formula was excellent and I really appreciate Zoya's take on deep neutral shades. This is one I definitely recommend especially if you're someone who is just dabbling into neutral shades. This one gives you the richness that a lot of nude/neutral shades don't have.

Zoya Coco

I have a Zoya polish to show you that is from 10 years ago! I haven't owned it for 10 years, but when looking it up I found out it was released in 2007. I purchased this one during Zoya's recent Black Friday sale. I was looking for muted and neutral colors to try out since I'm into those colors now and need more in my collection. This color caught my eye and I'm really glad I purchased it.

Coco
Coco is a dusty marsala mauve creme with brown, red, and purple undertones.

Collection: Zoya Upton Collection 2007

Color: Marsala was the Pantone color of the year in 2015, so this is a little late, but I love this color. In my opinion this a very wearable and neutral red shade. Sometimes, I don't like wearing red because it will clash with what I'm wearing (I'm weird like that), but this a red I could wear with anything. It's soft enough to read more as a neutral. I love the muted and dustiness of this shade!

Formula: This had a nice formula. I did find I needed 3 coats for full opacity, but no application issues.

Price: This is currently $10 on Zoya's website.

Overall: I don't have any colors like this in my collection and I'm really glad to have Coco now. It really is a great neutral tone that unique in comparison to other colors in this spectrum. The formula is nice and I don't have any complaints!

Zoya Dixie

I've been dabbling in mainly nude and neutral shades lately that I don't' want my blog to get drab! I have a bright color to share with you today from Zoya. I stocked up on Zoya during the Black Friday sale back in November and this color caught my eye as one I needed to add to my collection.

Dixie
Dixie is a watermelon red creme.

Collection: Zoya Sunsets Collections Summer 2016

Color: These is such a fun juicy summery red shade. I love reds like Dixie. This is a perfect blend of red and pink and it's so bright and vibrant. It's not a neon shade, but it definitely pops on your nails. This is a type of shade I think would be flattering on most and makes a great statement for spring, summer, or now when we're in the doldrums of winter.

Formula: This had an excellent formula. I used 2 coats. I've noticed Zoya has had an improvement in formula over the past 2-3 years. They used to be hit or miss with me, but lately, I haven't had any misses.

Price: This is $10 on the Zoya website

Overall: Dixie a the perfect pop-of-color shade. I love its brightness and vibrancy. The formula is great and it's just great overall staple summery shade for any nail polish lover.

Zoya Courtney

I noticed while perusing my blog this past year that I really did not feature many red polishes. I love red polishes, but you can only get so original with red. I've been nail polish lover since 2008, so I have 8 years under my belt of collection red polish. I think I've just accumulated favorites and didn't really see a need to venture out. The Zoya Black Friday sale did persuade me otherwise because Zoya has a great collection of reds. I picked out this one in my most recent order.

Courtney
Courtney is a deep red crelly.

Collection: Zoya Urban Grunge Fall 2016

Color: I forgot how much I love deep red shades like this one. This color is so classic and chic I can't get enough. Again, a simple shade that I'm swooning over. I forget how perfectly perfect a classic red or nude can be. This is a winning color!

Formula: The formula on this was good and easy to use. I used 2 coats above.

Price: This is $10 on Zoya's website.

Overall: No, this isn't an original color, but it's stunning. Easy does it sometimes and Courtney proves that point. I love this shade of red. It's perfect for the season and I don't have any complaints!

Zoya Olivera

Zoya holiday collections tend to be let downs for me. I'm not into Pixie Dusts and usually, the other shades don't entice me either. This was pretty much this case this year except for one shade. If you're into polish I'm sure you know which shade I'm talking about. If not, you'll soon find out!

Olivera
Olivera is an indigo base with and intense green shifty shimmer.

Collection: Zoya Enchanted Holiday 2016

Color: This is fantastic. I love to see a mainstream brand dabbling into shimmer and duochrome territory. I haven't seen that in awhile. This color is so pigmented and rich. You can see some green-purple shifts in the bottle, but I didn't find that translated on the nail. That's NO problem to me because even without that it's a stunning color.

Formula: This is where this shocked me. This was a one-coater. I am floored. I've never had a Zoya polish much less a shimmery polish like this be a one-coater. The formula was surprisingly excellent.

Price: This is $10 on Zoya's website.

Overall: This is all kinds of win from the color to the formula. This is one of the best polishes I've come across this year which means I'm sure you'll be spotting it on a list of mine very soon 😉. You need this polish. Need I say more?

Zoya Marnie

I took advantage of Zoya's 70% off Black Friday sale and recently received my order. You'll probably be seeing a handful of Zoya posts this week and next! When I was building a shopping list with Zoya I had to look into their nudes and neutral territory because I'm still into those colors. This color caught my eye and it's very different from other neutral tones I own.

Marnie
Marnie is a muted warm plum creme.

Collection: Zoya Naturel 2 Collection 2014

Color: This a deep shade for a neutral tone which makes it unique to my collection. I really love this color. It's rich while being soft at the same time. It's a very wearable color that would go with everything and give you a clean look.

Formula: This had a great easy to use formula. I used 2 coats above.

Price: This is $10 on the Zoya website.

Overall: I'm in love with this color. It's sometimes those simple colors these days that make me swoon. It's a great everyday shade I don't see how you could go wrong with. I don't have much else to add other than I'm happy I purchased it!

Throwbacks Week: Zoya Ryan

Thanksgiving is tomorrow! Are you all excited? I am VERY excited this year. My Thanksgiving last year was a crapshoot last year foodwise, so I'm very much looking forward to a redo. Today, I have for you a beautiful Zoya throwback fall blue creme. This is a polish that has made its way back into my fall rotation the past 2 years since it was released.

Ryan
Ryan is a rich navy blue creme.

Collection: Zoya Entice Fall 2014

Color: Navy is not an unusual color in nail world, but it's a color that you see done a million different ways. They're are deep blackened navys, bright blue navys, muted navys, and so forth. This to me, is a true navy in my eyes. It's not too dark, too light, it's just right! It's such a pigmented and creamy color.

Formula: This had an excellent formula. I used 2 coats.

Price: This can be found on the Zoya website for $10.

Overall: This is an amazing rich blue color. The formula is great and I don't have any complaints!

Third Week Throwbacks: Zoya Kerry

I have such trouble with this Zoya polish's name. I continue to call it Belle even though it's named Kerry. This polish should be called Belle, dangit! You will see why in just a second!

Kerry

Kerry is a yellow gold foil metallic.

Collection: Zoya Irresistible Collection Summer 2013

Color: This should be called Belle, right? This is exactly the color Belle's dress in Beauty and the Beast. That's all I can think about when I see this color. Yellow golds are slippery slope for me against my skin tone, but I like this one. The finish on this is beautiful. I've never seen a finish quite like this on a gold before.

Formula: This had an excellent formula. I used 3 coats above and this applied easily.

Price: This is $10 on the Zoya website.

Overall: Belle Kerry is a stunning and unique polish. I love this beautiful yellow gold and the amazing foil finish. I miss foil polishes! I think this is definite must have if you're a nail polish fan. It's definitely one of those one of kind polishes!
