When I was trying decide on polishes to get with my gift card, this was one of the polishes many nail people recommended. I was completely clueless at what to get, so I went ahead and purchased this one. I must say this is the strangest polish I have ever encountered. It's strange in a good way. You'll see what I mean...
212 (click to enlarge)
212 is a hard to describe color. I'd say it's a blackened gold or olive green or black with lots of gold shimmer? I have no idea! It is packed with micro glitter, silver glitter, holographic glitter, and copper flakes. I can confidently say, this is polish I haven't seen before, and I'm sure many others haven't either.
I know 212 is an area code for Manhattan, so I guess this is NYC in a bottle. It's diverse and full of sparkle and uniqueness. I also find this reminiscent of when I used to do art projects as a little kid. I'd use a ton of glitter and paint and I'd always have a ton left over that left a big mess on the table. If I were to mix all of my glitter mess and paint together I'm sure I would of got something similar to this polish.
I really love this polish. It's find it refreshing because it is so different and out there. I would totally pay the $9 for this one gift card or no gift card. It is completely worth it!
Happy Friday!

Revlon Plum Seduction + International under $10!
I have chosen a winner for my giveaway and sent them an email. I'm going to hold off announcing them until I hear back from them. If I don't hear from them by late Monday I'll draw a new winner, so hopefully we'll hear from them soon!!!
This is Revlon Plum Seduction.
I love this color it's very bright and spring-summer like. This is 3 coats and it goes on smoothly. Revlon makes some great polishes and this is a good one to have in the collection
I know this groan-worthy now but I did put Sally Hansen- Hidden Treasure over it a day later. I think this will be my last Hidden Treasure post for awhile since I think everyone is getting tired of hearing about it, but regardless it is gorgeous.
I don't know what it is but I've been really into plum colors this season. I like the bright ones, the medium ones, and the dark ones. I'm glad I found another color I'm into because it's difficult not to grab the pinks and the corals all the time! Any particular colors you all are reaching for this season?
On to my international under $10! I want to thank those of you who contributed information for this. I really appreciate you all helping me out.

Orly Pink Fun
Lately, I have been getting into Orly polishes. I LOVE them and I don't know why I hadn't tried some of them before. Their colors are not as funky as China Glaze, but they do create wearable colors that are beautiful and playful. They always have some neat collections. Plus, I love how big the bottles are you get .6fl oz which makes me happy!
Here are some pretty pinks I acquired recently.
L-R: Oh Cabana Boy, Pixy Stix, & Passion Fruit
Oh Cabana Boy
Oh Cabana Boy wasn't the easiest to capture because it is somewhat of a neon. It is a light-med pink shimmer with a violet flash throughout. I used 3 coats. This is a fun summer color name included!
Pixy Stix
Pixy Stix to me looks just like the Crayola color "pink" that you get in a box of crayons. It's a pink that leans a bit on the coral side. I think it could go either way as a pink or as coral pink. Either way it's a great creme polish that I love. This is 2 coats.
Passion Fruit
Passion Fruit is true neon. It is that highlighter pink color. It's not hot pink per say, but it is a bright neon pink. I could get more detailed with this, but I think you get what I mean. This was 3 coats and it does dry matte. If you like matte put a matte top coat on. If you like it shiny add just a regular top coat. Personally, I'm a shiny gal, but it's up to you what you like best!
Today I am wearing Pixy Stixy, I decided I'd put a coat of Sally Hansen Hidden Treasure on it for extra pop. Don't worry I'm not going to get into Hidden Treasure it's been covered so many times! If you're not sure what it is just visit MakeupAlley Nail Board and there will probably be 100+ posts on it :P. It's becoming like the Twilight of the nail world. I get it :P. Anyways, it looks pretty cool! I figured I'd show you.
That's all for today lovelies. I'm off to Dollar Tree. I told myself I was on a nail polish buying ban,but it's Dollar Tree! $1 nail polish isn't that big of deal, right??? Validate me people! Hehehe
Peace!
