Wet n' Wild Creepy Pumpkin & Black Magic

Happy Halloween!

Today, I have for you 2 of the Wet n' Wild Fantasy Makers polishes I got this year. This will be a short post.

Creepy Pumpkin

Creepy Pumpkin is tangerine jelly with orange and gold glitter.

Black Magic (I got this one from Colour Coated, thanks! )

Black Magic is a black creme with silver and orange micro glitters.

These two fun polishes. I think Black Magic maybe dupey to WnW Blackmail. I love Creepy Pumpkin, there is nothing creepy about it though. I hope you all have a great Halloween!

Wet n' WIld MegaLast Bloom Collection & Rant

Finally, I have the Bloom collection. The search for these turned out to be completely fruitless. I heard a tip that these were found at a grocery store here called Winn Dixie, but the one closest to me did not have them. Thankfully, Kimberly from Libby's Pink Vanity scored some for me at the Winn Dixie near her. Thank you!

Cherry Blossom

Cherry Blossom is a pale warm toned pink creme.

Sunburst
 Sunburst is pale orange creme.

Collecting Pollen
Collecting Pollen is a pale yellow creme.

Garden Hose
Garden Hose is a pale minty green creme.

Bird Bath

Bird Bath is a light blue creme.

Laughing Lilac
Laughing Lilac is a light red toned purple creme.

Very cute collection. The colors are perfect for spring. I didn't find these to be chalky or stark unlike some pastels which is huge plus! I do have a bit of a rant though.....

Wet n' Wild is starting to tick me off with their new & LE polish collections. I love Wet n' Wild, but I swear the past few collections seem to be only found at Rite Aid or other stores that don't exist here in Florida. I've noticed some collections are exclusive to Rite Aid. I know this is selfish, I'm sure, but I rely on Walgreens and CVS to find my drugstore goodies. It stinks that these collections are getting harder and harder to find.

I sent Wet n' Wild a email back in April asking if the Bloom collection would be available at Walgreens, and they didn't reply to me until June. I also asked if it was possible to purchase stuff from them online or in another way. They said it's up to the store one what they decide to put out, and they don't sell their products online. So, should I blame Walgreens? From what I gather majority of people are not finding these newer collections at Walgreens. I've heard few scores at CVS which usually doesn't carry Wet n' Wild, but not Walgreens. What's going on? I have yet to find the new Mermaid's Cove collection, and other LE makeup collections from Wet n Wild. It stinks, and I'm fairly confident I'm not going to find these at Walgreens, so I've pretty much given up on the search.

So whoever is the issue here either Wet n' Wild or Walgreens please share the wealth! If not, Wet n' Wild please consider selling your products online. You can have my money! I want to give it to you, just let me get my hands on your collections! :)

Del Sol Sun Kissed

When I was on vacation, I made sure to pick up some Del Sol goodies. These are polishes that change color in the sun. You can pretty much count on Del Sol polish being available in major touristy areas and Caribbean islands. They always have from what I remember a special of buy 3 get 1 free. These are $10 each, which is a bit pricey, but it's a fun novelty polish, so it's fine by me!

Sun Kissed indoors
Sun Kissed indoors is a pale peach with gold shimmer.

Sun Kissed outdoors
Sun Kissed outdoors turns into a vibrant deep coral pink with gold shimmer.

I love this polish because of how dramatic the change is. I'm normally not a fan of the nude-pale peachy tones, but this one I find very complimentary. This one definitely comes alive in the sun. I love the intensity of the coral shade, and I of course love the gold shimmer!

China Glaze Papaya Punch

Ever since I first saw the preview for China Glaze Island Escape summer collection, I knew I had to have these colors. When I first saw some swatches for these, I admit I was a little disappointed. I almost considered not getting any of these, but I figured maybe if I got these I'd feel differently. I'm not showing you all of these at once, but I will say photographs do not do some of these polishes justice. These are far better in person. This next color I think kick started a love affair with orange polishes for me.

Papaya Punch
Papaya Punch is a bright orange yellow-creme.

I wouldn't say this is neon. It's definitely not as bright as last year's Poolside collection, but this color verges on neon. It is definitely an attention grabbing color. I absolutely love this color. I love it more because it's not a typical color for me, and it makes me want to get more oranges! I've seen this shade swatched on a lot of skin tones, and I haven't seen this look bad on anyone. I know it's stretch to say this is universally flattering, but I'd call it "one size fits most" vs. "one size fits all". I also think if you're not sure about orange, this maybe the color that sway your opinion!

Happy Monday!

Ulta Under the Sea Set

"The seaweed is always greener in somebody else's lake. You dream about going up there but that is a big mistake. Just look at the world around you, right here on the ocean floor, such wonderful things surround you, what more is you looking for?.....Under the sea...lalala"

I couldn't resist. The Little Mermaid is my favorite Disney movie, so I had to get these polishes even though they are sans the Disney. They were able to incorporate the idea without copyright infringement I'm assuming? :P I got this set at Ulta for $7.99. I also am giving away set as one of the prizes for my giveaway that ends today!

I did the swatches a bit different this time, since these bottles are so tiny. I only swatched these on one finger each.

Tip the Scales
Tip the Scales is an emerald green with gold glass fleck.

Tail of Two Cities

Tail of Two Cities is a tangerine with gold glass fleck.

Mermaid Heaven
Mermaid in Heave rose pink with gold glass fleck.

Don't Be Shellfish
Don't Be Shellfish is a grape purple with gold glass fleck.

I love these shades! I wish they had full size bottles of these. I would buy them all! These are kind of reminiscent of some colors in Zoya's Sunshine collection, but these are definitely more pigmented as far as color goes. I think these are perfect for summer. I actually think these would be great to travel with for a summer getaway. They're small and convenient to carry. :)

For your viewing pleasure...

Zoya Sunshine Collection Swatches

Today, I have the Sunshine collection for you. Glitter lovers get ready to be amazed! Remember today is the last day to take advantage of the promo!

L-R: Reva, Faye, Rica, Apple, Tanzy, & Kimmy

Reva

Reva is a berry red with gold foil-like sparkle.

Faye
Faye is a lavender purple packed with golden foil-like sparkle. This color kind of reminds me of a super amped up version ChG Awakening or Zoya Shivon.

Rica
Rica is a coral toned pink with gold foil-like sparkle.

Apple

Apple is a yellow-toned green with gold foil-like sparkle.

Tanzy
Tanzy is a tangerine shade with gold foil-like sparkle.

Kimmy

Kimmy is a bright fiery red with gold foil-like sparkle.

These are fan-freaking-tastic! If you love glitter, I'm going to say you *need* these, especially if you are sucker for gold shimmer/glitter. These are not shy on the sparkle,  but have the perfect balance of great color paired with them. These do not disappoint. Unlike the Summertime collection I cannot image these have dupes.

The only issue I had with these is they were inconsistent in formula. Kimmy and Reva were both highly pigmented and only requited two coats, while the rest were more on the sheer side and required 3. Honestly, for these types of shades I'm not complaining. I usually do 2-3 coats anyways, so it's fine by me.

I absolutely adore all of these, but I'm especially impressed by Faye. I would of never imagined a color like Faye. It is such an unpredictable and original color. They could of easily done a vibrant purple with sparkle, but the subdued lavender was a creative choice!
