Zoya Goodies & Scary Statues

Before I get into the Zoya goodies. I have to talk about scary statues briefly. My BF and I late at night watch sci-fi series. We've watched all of the Star Trek series and we moved on to Doctor Who.This show is about time travel and has sci-fi aspects. I really enjoy it. If there are scarier elements it's usually balanced out with some silliness and humor, so it's all good. I don't do scary. Well, there was this one episode last night that was pure scary. I won't give it away but it had to do with these really creepy/terrifying  "weeping angel" statues moving around when you weren't looking changing their face expressions into absolutely terrifying demon-like ones. It was AWFUL. No sleep for me. Blech. Scary and I don't sit well. I'll live though, but I have no interest in seeing statues anytime soon.

On to Zoya goodies which equal happiness! This is just a recent haul of Zoya's I got during the Halloween special where you got 3 extra colors with an order and their BOGO free sale. Enjoy the pretties!

Danielle, Gigi, Tiffany, & Gloria

Gabrielle, Milla, Maura, & Gilda

Ivanka, Akyra, Edyta, Tallulah, & Raven

Delilah, Savita (this color is absolutely amazing), Valerie, & Trixie

Those are the goodies I got. I will be posting swatches of these in the upcoming days and weeks. I was happy with my selection. I have difficult time picking out Zoyas because I can only purchase them online. I find Scrangie's collection of Zoya swatches to be VERY helpful.

That's all for today!

Have a happy and creepy statue free Wednesday!

Hauly Haul Haul

No real post today. I am swamped with work still. I am such a perfectionist and I like to get my classwork done ASAP, but I just can't concentrate this week! I'm not the type of person who does things last minute. I've got about 60% of my work for the week done. I put way too much pressure on myself to get things done at a certain time, and when I don't accomplish that I get frazzled and lose focus. I need to just re-group and get my stuff done. It's not due until Monday, if it's done Saturday or Sunday instead of yesterday or today the world isn't going to end. I don't need to always finish the race first. I hope there are some other perfectionists out there who can relate? :P

Anyways, over the past week I have accumilated some goodies.

I got some Sinful Colors thanks to the Walgreens sale, and my wonderful parents who mailed me some Del Sol polishes they got me on their vacation last week. I love my parents, they're too sweet. I appreciate it so much, because Del Sol polishes are bit high for me and I had been wanting some for some time!  There is also a Wet n Wild polish and a pretty Eva duochrome thrown in there!

Look for swatches soon! I can't wait to share the Del Sol polishes with you. Time to get back to work, but I need some food first. I am LOVING this Sabra hummus you can get at the grocery store. It's so good with grilled chicken in a pita or on Wheat Thins. It's pretty much good on anything.  I think I've been eating hummus everyday for the past 2 weeks. Have you all tried this hummus before or hummus in general? If not, give it a try. I love the Sabra sun-dried tomato kind! It's good for you too!

Happy Friday

Ulta, TransDesign, + Sally's Haul

I'm not feeling great today, so I'm not feeling up to a normal post. I figured I would show you some recent damage I did. Ulta, TransDesign, & Sally's are dangerous places. Thankfully, I had an Ulta gift card, but I have no excuse for the rest! :P Swatches will be coming in the future!

UPDATE:  Sorry if I wasn't clear. I didn't get Space Cadet from Sally's I got it from TransDesign. I didn't organize these in order of where I got them. I just mixed everything up.  The only things from Sally's are the China Glaze & Finger Paints. I got Space Cadet from Transdesign . They have the Cosmix colors for $5. They are currently out of Space Cadet, but I'm sure they'll restock soon!

OPI Catch Me In Your Net & Haul

Today I'm going to show you swatches of OPI Catch Me In Your Net from the Summer Flutter collection. I REALLY wanted this shade, mainly because I was dying to have Zoya Charla. I have read countless times that this shade and Charla are exact dupes. For comparisons I suggest looking at All Lacquered Up's blog.

I know what you're thinking Charla would be cheaper than OPI and you could do the Zoya Exchange etc. I know, I know :(. I don't think I'm going to get to do the exchange this year. I'm too overwhelmed with picking stuff to get rid of and then picking colors. I just knew I really wanted Charla, so this seemed like a better route for the time being.

Anyways on to the prettiness!

Catch Me In Your Net Indoors

Catch Me In Your Net Outdoors

Catch Me In Your Net is a blue-green packed with green and blue duochrome glitter. This is basically my favorite things about nail polishes packed into one bottle. It is a stunningly gorgeous shade. It makes me think of mermaids and the shimmering scales on many tropical fish. It is beautiful. It is a must have! I'm starting to think I say this a lot. I think that's just par for the course with nail polish addict :P. If you have this or Charla you are set. You don't need both, but I recommend you at least get one of these stunning beauties!

I did some bargain and freebie hauling recently. I had a gift card to Sephora and picked up my first Sephora by OPI Polishes. I had some great coupons from CVS and got some of the new Sally Hansen HDs, and I got 2 polishes from Victoria Secret Outlet for $1 each!

Here is a preview!

Look for swatches in the upcoming days!

Aqua Franken & Budget Haulage!!

This is a aqua franken I made well over a year ago. I sadly do not remember the mixture 100%, but I do believe it was Sally Hansen Lime Lights + Sally Hansen Marine Scene + Sally Hansen White Tip + Sally Hansen Dimension. I'd say it's muted medium aquamarine shimmer. It does have some green and blue glitter mixed in but it hardly never shows up on the nail which is FINE. I actually prefer it this way! I named this one Grecian Waters because it reminded me of the beautiful color of the sea off the shores of Greece.

Today I did some major budget hauling! First I got this amazing haul from Jessika aka Jbrobeck on MUA or @jbrobs on Twitter. She is having a NP sale on LiveJournal and had some pricey polishes for great prices! She also threw in some extras which was very sweet. Thank you!

L-R: OPI DS Ruby, Revlon Crimson Sparkle, Orly Goth, Sinful Colors Vacation Time, Maybelline Red Aluminum, Purple Aluminum, Funky Fingers Red Glitter, Funky Fingers Silver Glitter

I also did some hauling at CVS. Let me tell you guys if you do not have a CVS card please get one. I know CVS doesn't have the selection that Walgreens does but if you have their Extra Care Card you can really do some major saving. I bought the following things some for regular price, but some for 75% off. I also purchased some other non-beauty items and used some coupons.

L-R: Milani Buzz Worthy Gloss Bee-utiful, Milani Buzz Worhty Goss Be-Mine, Orly Wild Wisteria, Borghese Dolce Vita Fuchsia, Borghese Siena Gold, Sally Hansen Blew Me Away

I got $8 Borghese nail polish 75% off making them $2 (not all colors but quite a few) also Milani Buzz Worthy Lip Gloss originally $7 75% off making them $1.75! I also picked up the Orly reg. price, Sally Hansen reg. price, and some other non beauty products. If I paid full price for all of this plus the non beauty products I would of been paying $45, but with these sales and some CVS coupons I ended up only paying $17.50. I ended up saving $27.50! This excited me greatly! Can you tell? I am over the moon! Sales and bargains are great!

I also got these two Wet n' Wild polishes at Albertsons BOGO free!

L-R: Blue Moon & Bijou Blue

As you can see I had a good day! I really suggest looking up drugstores weekly savings, getting a CVS card and using their coupons or any other coupons for that matter. If you're interested in budget beauty buying like I mentioned before I really recommend the following bloggers..
NouveauCheap
DrugstoreDivas

That's it for today! Happy Shopping!

P.S. I just got my package of Ulta3 nail polishes I won from More Nail Polish's giveaway! Thank you so much! I will be swatching these and the ones I mentioned above this weekend.
