Cirque Garnet

I've had Cirque polish on my "to try" list for years. It's probably the one brand that's been on there the longest that I never had ended up getting around to. I still haven't gotten around to it as I haven't purchased any myself.  I was gifted some recently during a Secret Santa gift exchange and I'm happy to finally have some! This was one of the colors I received.

Garnet
Garnet is an opulent burgundy with holographic flakes.

Collection: Cirque Facets Collection 2016 (Limited Edition)

Color: I love a rich red like Garnet. Red is one of my favorite colors in nail polish despite it being rather traditional. I love the depth and richness of this color and the bejeweled look it has with the holographic flakes.

Formula: This was a standout formula. I think most nail polish formulas I come across these days are good but just good. They do the job, not complaints. This formula stood out as exceptional. It had this almost gel-like formula. It was really opaque and applied so smoothly. I used 2 coats above.

Price: This can be purchased at Live Love Polish for $13.00.

Overall: This is a beautifully polish and beautifully made too. I love the jewel-toned of this color and the holo flakies. The formula was amazing and I'm really impressed with this brand so far.

ILNP Juliette

I have an ILNP polish to share with you today that has been on my wishlist for a long time. I finally got around to getting it in a gift exchange last fall. Who doesn't love rose gold? I sure love it but it can be a bit of tricky color for me. If it's too warm it doesn't really do wonders for my skin tone, but finding the right rose gold can be difficult. Rose and gold are warmer tones, so I'm already at a disadvantage. How will Juliette fair for me?

Juliette
Juliette is a holographic rose gold with metallic flakes.

Collection: ILNP Winter 2015

Color: I think this rose gold works for me alright. It maybe a touch too warm, but overall I do really like it. I love metallic flake polishes so this is what I  was drawn to instantly when I was oogling over this color over a year ago. I don't know if this finish really works out for me, though. It's all glitter particles without a color base. It doesn't look really smooth or cohesive on my nails because of this and I wish it had some sort of base going on.

Formula: This formula on this was OK. I think because it is all glittery particles it makes it harder to apply cleanly and smoothly. I used 3 coats above. It's not completely opaque, but close enough.

Price: This is $10 on the ILNP website.

Overall: I'm a bit disappointed with this polish. I think I had such high expectations for it and I had been wanting it for close to a year. I do love the color. I like the finish too, but the finish didn't work out too well application or look wise. I really wish there was some sort of colored base or even a shimmer base in this to give it a cleaner more complete look on the nail. It's not a bad polish and I really think these issues I have with it are more about my personal preference than what most people would feel about it.

KBShimmer Office Space Collection (Full)

* I received 4 of these polishes exchange for my honest review. I purchased the other 4 in this collection.

I have the new KBShimmer Office Space collection to share with you today. This collection will be released tomorrow. I was really excited to hear KBShimmer was releasing this because it's a collection of neutral shades. I'm all about nude and neutral colors and I'm happy to see indies starting to dabble in this shade range. I was only offered 4 polishes of these to review but decided to purchase the other 4 to complete the collection I was so excited about it. Let's get started

Caught On Tape
Caught On Tape is a pale mauve creme. (2 coats)

Cubicle Pusher
Cubicle Pusher is a muted holographic grape shade. (2 coats)

Fax Of Life
Fax Of Life is dark platinum grey polish with a linear holo. (2 coats)

A Hint Of Manila
A Hint of Manila is mega flame holographic vanilla/soft tan shade. (2 coats)

Makin' Copies
Makin' Copies is a pale silver with white shimmer and linear holo sparkle. (3 coats)

Staple Relationship
Staple Relationship is a deepened grey polish with silvery flakes and holo sparkle. (2 coats)

Supplies Party
Supplies Party is a warm cream shade loaded with metallic flakes and holo sparkle. (2 coats)

Take Back CTRL
Take Back CTRL is a dusty rose creme. (2 coats)

Collection: KBShimmer Office Space Winter 2017

Colors: I love this office space theme and the colors match it perfectly. This collection has a great mix of nude, neutral mauves, and gray/silver shades. I like the variety of neutrals offered in this collection. The variety of finishes is a plus too. My favorites in this collection are Cubicle Pusher, Take Back CTRL, A Hint of Manila, and Staple Relationship.

Formulas: These all had great formulas. The cremes were spectacular and easy to use 2 coaters. The other formulas were great and easy to use. Makin' Copies was the only color that needed 3 coats for me for opacity, but the formula was still good.

Price: These will be $9.25 each and are available on KBShimmer's website tomorrow!

Overall: I'm very impressed and pleased with this collection. I love the theme and the colors. I forsee nude/neutral shades picking up more momentum in 2017 and I appreciate indies jumping on that bandwagon. This collection offers a variety of different types of nude/neutral shades and finishes to really suit every taste, skin tone, and occasion. I would really like to see a sequel of this collection or another nude/neutral collection from KBShimmer later on because I can't get enough of colors like these!

ILNP Chleo

It seems like indies are starting to venture into the nude and neutral polish territory lately too. I was really excited when I saw ILNP was creating some fall neutrals as part of their fall collection. Indie really are not well known for colors like these, but I'm happy they're coming around to them because I have more options and better ones. We know indies tend to be more creative with colors than mainstream brands! I have the shade Chleo from the recent ILNP fall collection to share with you today.

Chleo
Chleo is a soft blush pink jelly that features a gorgeously delicate holographic sparkle.

Collection: ILNP Fall Neutrals Collection Fall 2016

Color: This is one of those "your nails but better shades". I love the softness of this shade and how it just enhances the look of my natural nails. The holo sparkle on this is just right. It provides the right amount of glimmer while still maintaining a clean and soft look.

Formula: Excellent jelly formula. I used 3 coats above. It was easy to apply and smooth.

Price: This is $10.00 on the ILNP website.

Overall: Chleo is a gorgeous shade and it definitely is satisfying my nude/neutral polish obsession right now. It's a very flattering shade and gives you the perfect clean and chic look to your nails. The sparkle is just right and the formula is on point.

Different Dimension Yeti Goes Stargazing

Have a told you how much I love indie grab bags? I know, I know, I've told you countless times. I was recently gifted another Different Dimension one in a recent gift exchange and this was one of the stunners in the grab bag. This polish was made as a part of charity auction last year.

Yeti Goes Stargazing
Yeti Goes Stargazing is a rich blue-teal base with scattered holo and shredded glitter mixed in.

Collection: N/A

Color: This is one of the most richly pigmented holographic polishes I've come across. It is absolutely stunning. I love the richness and saturation of this blue-teal color. I love jewel-tones and they make amazing bases for holographic colors.

Formula: Excellent formula I used 2 coats here. It applied easily and smoothly.

Price: N/A. The only way I assume you can snag this one now is through luck with a grab bag like I did.

Overall: Different Dimension really knows how to make holographic polishes. They're definitely on my very short list of indies who make my favorite holos. They always have some special touch added either through glitter or flakies that keep them from just being ordinary holos. The color itself in this is gorgeous, but the other added holo bits and bobs gives this polish depth and pizazz.

Different Dimension Mic Drop

I've never bought a group custom until now. I'm terrible about following indie FB groups. I'm in a handful including Portal to a Different Dimension, but I hardly ever remember to check it along with the other 20+ groups I'm in. I am horrific multi-tasker. I don't know how people follow and keep up to date with so many groups. It hurts my brain to think about it. I don't know what kind of luck I had to come across this polish in my feed, but I did. I've heard about other groups doing customs before, but never was able to catch them (the bad multi-tasking thing). I was able to spot this one though and I needed this polish!

Mic Drop
Mic Drop is a hot pink creme base with golden holographic glitter.

Collection: Different Dimension March 2015 Group Custom

Color: You know how I feel about golden holographic glitter? If a polish has golden holographic glitter I must have it. Mic Drop is insanely awesome. I love this hot hot pink with that gold glitter. It's bright, summery, and and definitely my type of color.

Formula: Excellent formula. I used 2 coats above. This applied smoothly and easily.

Price: Sadly, this is no longer available as it was a group custom that had a 72 hour purchase window. That being said, I do believe group customs will be continually for Different Dimension so be sure to join Portal to a Different Dimension so you can get in on the action..

Overall: I adore Mic Drop. This is vibrant and peppy shade that I adore. You know I love that golden holographic glitter, and that's what makes this polish for me. This polish is a stunner!

Cupcake Polish Imagine

I have another one of the fantastical polishes from Cupcake Polish's Unicorn Collection. This collection is made up of beautiful jelly holo micro-glitters. I'm a suck for glitter so of course I fell in love with these. I love indies doing one-tone glitters these days. There are so many different muti-colored glitters out there, but I when doing manis I may only use those as accent nails. Solid tone glitters I love as full manis.

Imagine
Imagine is a pastel teal jelly with silver holo microglitter.

Collection: Cupcake Polish Unicorn Collection Winter 2016

Color: You can never go wrong with a great teal in my book and this one is great. I love this shade of blue-green and that holo glitter makes this polish magical. This is sparkle city!

Formula: This had a great formula. It applied beautifully and easily. I used 2 coats above.

Price: This is $13.00 on Cupcake Polish's site.

Overall: This is a winning polish. I love the color and the holo glitter. The polishes in this collection including Imagine fit perfectly in a Unicorn themed collection. These colors are magical!

Cupcake Polish Believe

I've mentioned many times how hard it is for me to keep up with indies. I know I'm missing out on many great brands and collections simply because I just don't have time to follow what's going on. Indie purchases usually are very spur of the moment for me. I come across an amazing IG pic of an indie polish and it is an instant love. That's how I was when I saw Cupcake Polish's Unicorn Collection. I knew I was going to need some of those polishes. This is one I picked up.

Believe
Believe is a lavender jelly with lavender and silver holo micro glitters.

Collection: Cupcake Polish Unicorn Collection Winter 2016

Color: These are the type of glitters I love and do not see often. I love one tone opaque glitters. This is an absolute stunner. I love lavender shades and that holo glitter is to die for. This glitter is even more glittery in person than it is in photos. It's usually the other way around with other indies I've experienced. Cupcake Polish never has failed me with sparkle that's for sure!

Formula: This is an excellent opaque and easy to use formula. I used coats above.

Price: This is $13 on the Cupcake Polish site.

Overall: This polishes are well worth the hype and the admiration that's for sure. This is probably one of the most sparkly polishes I own. I love this beautiful shade of purple, and that holo micro glitter is heaven. This is a stunner!

China Glaze Break the Ice

I feel like this blog has been lacking in mainstream polishes this entire year. I won't get into it, but I think we all know the reason for that. Mainstream is falling incredibly short in comparison to indies. I really wish this were not the case. I miss shopping for polish in stores. I hardly do that at all anymore! I did find this China Glaze holiday polish that caught my eye.

Break the Ice (over KBShimmer Chilly Pepper)
Break the Ice is a mix of holographic shard glitter in a clear base.

Collection: China Glaze Cheers! Holiday 2015

Color: It's holographic silver shard glitters. I'm not sure there is much else to say about it!

Formula: I did not have any problem getting these glitters to come out of the bottle. I love the size of them as they're not bulky or chunky. I will say, that this is probably best for dabbing rather than brushing on. The shards do want to stick together, and are easy to dab on the nail to spread them out.

Price: This can be found in stores and on various e-tailers in the $4-$7 range.

Overall: I like this glitter topper. It's nice to see shard glitter from a mainstream brand. I like how these glitters vary in sizes, but are not chunky or thick. I do wish these were easier to brush on rather than dab. I'm not much of a dabber, but I make do when I have to.

Northern Star Dreadful Curiosities

I'm definitely in fall mode now. Everything is decorated for fall and Halloween here. I'm wearing fall colors. I'm drinking my homemade Pumpkin Spice coffee. Sorry, Starbucks, I'll make my own! The only thing thing that is holding back from fall here is the weather. I don't expect it to get cooler until November though. I'll live. I'll just pretend it's cool out!

I have a great fall polish for you today. This one is by Northern Star and part of her recent fall collection

Dreadful Curiosities
Dreadful Curiosities is a dark earthy brown with a subtle holographic finish.

Collection: Northern Star Polish Fall 2015

Color: This fall it's all about brown for me. I've never been into it at all before, but this year I want browns! This is a great rich and deep brown. It reads as brown on your nail not as black which is a plus. The holographic finish is subtle, but just enough to detect a hint of sparkle on your nail.

Formula: Excellent easy to use and apply formula. I have come to expect a lot formula-wise from Northern Star since my first experience a few weeks ago. This did not disappoint.

Price: This is $9.00 on Northern Star's etsy site.

Overall: Beautiful brown polish for fall. I love the richness of this brown and the subtle sparkle. The formula is excellent and this is all around a great polish!

Different Dimension Cosmologically Speaking Part 2

*The following products were provided to me in exchange for my honest review.

I have some more Cosmprof pretties I received at the Cocktails & Colors party. This collection is from Different Dimension made by Missi Barry. I have had a handful of Different Dimensions on my wishlist for awhile now, but never got around to purchase any. I'm kicking myself now, because Different Dimension should of been a mainstay in my nail polish collection awhile ago. These polishes are amazing!

Cosmic Ray
Cosmic Ray is a fuchsia pink holo with holo micro glitter.

Retrograde
Retrograde is a bronze holo with holo micro glitter.

Space-Time
Space-Time is a teal-green holo with holo and blue micro glitter.

Blue Shift
Blue Shift is a bright blue holo with holo micro glitter.

Quasar
Quasar is a lilac linear holo with holo micro glitter.

Absolute Zero
Absolute Zero is a champagne-nude holo with holo micro glitter.

Collection: Different Dimension Cosmologically Speaking Part 2.

Colors: These are intense and saturated colors. I was blown away with how opaque and pigmented these holos were. I love the intensity of these colors, and the holo is STRONG. These are not shy holos at all. These holos were so strong they were messing with my camera!

Formula: Absolute polish perfection. These were the best holos I've ever used formula wise. These glided on my nails with ease. They were so easy to apply. I barely had to do any clean up with these. I used 2 coats on all swatches, but there are few here that could easily get away with one they were so opaque.

Price: The polishes are $12.00 individually or $66.00 for the entire set on Different Dimension's site. Also, if you use the coupon code CPNA2015 you can get 30% OFF your entire order through 8/31/15!

Overall: The Cosmologically Speaking collection has some of the best holos and nail polish in general I've come across ever! These colors are rich, intense, and have an amazing holo effect. The formulas on them are all absolutely perfect. Go ahead, with that coupon code get the entire set. You will not be disappointed. These are hands down contenders for my Top 25 of 2015!
