Pretty Jelly Halloween Glitters

*I received the following products in exchange for my honest review.

I have the second part of Pretty Jelly's Halloween collection to share with you today. These are 2 Halloween themed glitters that are right up my alley. I can never pass up a glitter! Both of these glitters are a unique twist to typical Halloween colors.

Pumpkin Carousel
Pumpkin Carousel is black jelly base with orange, green, purple, and teal holographic glitters. Also
contains shimmer like gold glitters that shift green.

Werewolf Tricks
Werewolf Tricks is a vampy red-orange flakes in a black jelly base filled with bronze and gold
holographic glitters.

Collection: Pretty Jelly Halloween Glitters 2015

Color: These are great Halloween glitters. They're really fun takes on traditional Halloween colors. Pumpkin Carousel has the orange glitter and the black base, but it's filled with green, purple, and holo graphic glitters. Werewolf Tricks is an amazing color shifting glitter. This is packed with amazing glitters that look more pink-purple or gold-amber dependent on lighting and angle.

Formula: The formulas on both of these was good. I only needed 2 coats for each swatch. Pumpkin Carousel you may need some extra care getting those orange glitters out. They tend to want to stick to the sides, so let your bottle sit upside down for a bit will help. It also dries to a bumpy finish, so 2 coats of top coat would be idea. Werewolf Tricks was an easy breezy 2 coater that applied beautifully.

Price: These are $10 each on the Pretty Jelly etsy site.

Overall: I love these glitters. I love creative and thoughtfully made nail polishes and these both are exactly that. I love when makers create colors I couldn't imagine or think up myself. These are both fun and festive colors of Halloween and the fall season itself!

DazzleGlaze Night Nyx

I have another polish from DazzleGlaze to show you today. DazzleGlaze is actually an indie that is local to me here in Orlando. Pretty cool! I went to a craft recently to scope them out and purchase some of their goodies. They have a ton of beautiful jelly glitters which happen to be my favorite finish. This one caught my eye!

Night Nyx
Night Nyx is a black jelly base filled with fuchsia and magenta glitters.

Collection: DazzleGlaze Greek Underworld Fall 2014

Color: I love glitters like this with a black jelly base and some bright glitter. It is so hard to find them done right though, and Night Nyx is done right. A common problem with black jelly glitters is that the black jelly usually drowns out the glitter. This isn't the case here at all. There is perfect balance between base and glitter. That beautiful magenta glitter shines through strong!

Formula: This formula was good. The glitters came out easily. I would recommend with this polish though that you wait for it to dry completely between coats. I noticed that if it was still slightly wet applying the next coat, the polish would pool in areas and get thick. If I waited for it to dry though, I did not have this problem at all and it applied evenly. I used 3 coats above.

Price: This is $8.00 on the DazzleGlaze website.

Overall: Gorgeous polish! I love glitters like this and I wish it came in more colors. I'd buy them all! The formula was nice, but I think you'll have better results if you let it fully dry between coats. I didn't find this bothersome or a deal breaker at all though as it only maybe added another 1-2 minutes to my polish time.

KBShimmer Fall 2015 Collection- Glitters/Shimmer/Holo (6 of 8)

*I received the following in exchange for my honest review.

I have the continuation of the KBShimmer Fall 2015 collection for you today. The next part I have the glitters, shimmers, and holos. I only have 6 of the 8 polishes that fit into this category, but many other bloggers have the other two in their review.

Fig-Get About It
Fig-Get About It is a darkened fig burgundy linear holo.

I Feel Gourd-geous
I Feel Gourd-geous is a pale coppery-champagne holographic micro glitter.

Carpe Denim
Carpe Denim is a dark denim navy jelly filled with silver holographic glitter.

Talk Qwerty To Me
Talk Qwerty To Me is a shimmering teal with hints of blue and gold micro flakes.

Dark & Twisty
Dark & Twisty is a black jelly with metallic rainbow glitters.

Open Toad Shoes
Open Toad Shoes is a soft olive green jelly with chartreuse, burgundy, and navy glitters and a subtle holo shimmer.

Collection: KBShimmer Fall 2015 Collection

Colors: I am all about the bling and the glitz and these polishes nail it (pun intended). Again, like I always say with KBShimmer there is something here for everyone. These are awesome and thoughtfully made colors. KBShimmer knows how to do color combos and Open Toad Shoes is an awesome example. I never would of thought of that color combo, but it's awesome! Dark & Twisty is the type of polish I've been waiting for--a black jelly with rainbow glitter! Fig-Get About It is a surprise favorite for me in the bunch since I normally don't gravitate toward purple shades like that. These are all amazing colors.

Formula: These all had great formulas. I did not have application issues with any of these. I thought they all were smooth and easy to apply. I used 3 coats on all of these swatches.

Price: These all are $8.75 and will be available for purchase on Tuesday 9/15 on the KBShimmer site.

Overall: These polishes rock my world. They're inventive, beautifully made, and I wouldn't expect anything less from KBShimmer. I got to preview these back in Cosmoprof in July and I knew this collection would be a hit. I think Open Toad Shoes has to be one of the coolest polishes out in this season I've seen so far. If you had me pick my favorites I'd have to go with Open Toad Shoes, Fig-Get About It, and Dark & Twisty.

DazzleGlaze All Night Glow Stick

I discovered a local indie this past weekend! I went to a local indie art/craft fair yesterday, and DazzleGlaze was set up there. I have been familiar with the brand. We even have a mutual friend, but I never tried the brand or met the maker. I was so excited to see indie polish represented locally! I immediately was attracted to DazzleGlaze's stunning jelly glitters, and purchased a handful. This is one of the colors I picked up.

All Night Glow Stick
All Night Glow Stick is a deep purple jelly base with green and purple glitters and holo glitters.

Collection: DazzleGlaze Slammin' 90's Summer Collection Summer 2015

Color: I was immediately attracted to this color because of the contrast between the purple and those bright green glitters. I love this color combination and it's not one I see often with nail polish. I love the amazing sparkle in this, and I love that it's a jelly glitter.

Formula: This was a great easy to apply formula. I didn't have any issues with having to fish for glitter. I used 3 coats above.

Price: This is $8.00 on the DazzleGlaze website.

Overall: I love All Night Glow Stick, the color is very true the name. I love the color combination and the holo sparkle. This is a blingtastic jam-packed glitter polish that makes me very happy. The formula was great and on par too.

Third Week Throwbacks: LA Splash Ocean Fairy

**I'm currently at CosmprofNA in Las Vegas! Be sure to follow me on Facebook and Instagram for updates. I'll have a full report on my blog when I return next week!**

It's Third Week Throwbacks again! The third week of every month I do week of nail polish throwbacks. These are all polishes that are 2+ years or older. Today, I have an awesome LA Splash rediscovered throwback I'm head over heels about.

Ocean Fairy
Ocean Fairy is a teal jelly base with teal and yellow-green micro glitters.

Collection: Unknown

Color: This is the type of color that reminds me why I love nail polish so much. This is a stunning mix of a pigmented jelly base with intense sparkly glitter. I love this rich teal base and the glitter compliments this perfectly. Ocean Fairy is bling city in a very glitzy and elegant way.

Formula: Great formula. I did need to add some thinner to it as it has thickened over the years, but it thinned out nicely. I used 2 coats above.

Price: Sadly, I don't think you can find this one anymore. If you have it though, break it out again.

Overall: This was an amazing rediscovery. I love nail polishes like this so much. The color of this is so saturated and the formula was excellent. I am beyond the moon I found this one again.

Savvy Naturalista Nail Polish Review

* The following products were provided to me in exchange for my honest review.

I have a new to me, and I think a fairly new indie brand to share with you today. The brand is called Savvy Naturalista. These polishes are made by Shundara who also has an awesome blog that features some yummy recipes and shop that also sells bath and body products. Savvy Naturalista nail polishes are vegan, cruelty, and 5 free.

Let's get on to swatches!

Let the Green Thumbs Roll
Let the Green Thumbs Roll is a lovely green crelly polish with bright pink, blue hex glitters, and green and gold mini glitter.

Bubble Gum Mystery
Bubble Gum Mystery is a pink jelly with violet-blue color shifting sparkle.

Pimp My Fuchsia
Pimp My Fuchsia is a medium mauve pink jelly with dark pink, purple, and blue holo glitters.

Blues Shifting Paw
Blues Shifting Paw is a soft blue jelly with a pink-purple color shifting sparkle.

Colors: These are beautiful colors. I love the variety of colors I received in these polishes. Let the Green Thumbs Roll and Pimp My Fuchsia are both very fun and beautiful coordinated glitter mixes. I love the types of glitters chosen to go with the ases. Bubble Gum Mystery and Blues Shifting Paw are soft colors jellies paired with beautiful eye popping shimmers.

Formula: The formulas on all of these were very easy to use and apply. I used 3 coats for every swatch above. I did not have trouble getting the glitter in the glitter polishes to stick to my nail. I did find these colors to be sheer on application, and all would need at least 3-4 coats to reach opacity. This would dependent one if you use thick or thin coats and what level of pigmentation you like.

Price: The jelly glitters are $7.00 and the jelly with color shifting sparkle are $8. These can be purchased on Savvy Naturalista's website.

Overall: I'm really like these polishes by Savvy Naturalista. I found the colors fun and innovative. I thought they all applied like a breeze. They are a bit on the sheerer side and do require more coats of polish,  but the finished look of all these is beautiful.
