Lemming Lacquer Curiouser & Curiouser!

I think I've mentioned a few times I'm a big Alice in Wonderland fan. I'm not so much of a fan of the Disney version as I am the book and the 1985 TV movie version even though it scared the crap out of me when I was a child (see below). When I see Alice in Wonderland collection I'm a sucker for them. Naturally, Lemming Lacquer's Curiosities of Wonderland collection caught my eye, especially this one.

Curiouser & Curiouser!
Curiouser & Curiouser! is a sky blue holo with a subtle dusting of gold shimmer.

Collection: Lemming Lacquer Curiosities in Wonderland Spring 2015

Color: This is a beautifully pigmented sky blue holo. This color is rich and soft at the same time. I love the opacity of this pastel blue. It's creamy, not chalky, and perfectly perfect! The holo is effect is light to moderate which is perfect for this type of color. I love the subtle golden shimmer, which was hard to pick up on camera.

Formula: Excellent formula. This being a holo and a pastel one at that it was impeccable. I only needed 2 coats. It was smooth and so easy to apply.

Price: This is $12 and available on Lemming Lacquer's website.

Overall: I'm very impressed and in love with Curiouser & Curiouser! It's one thing to have a beautiful nail polish color, but to have a superior formula on top makes this one extra special. I have no complaints and love this beauty!

My Rating: 5 out of 5 *Golden* Paint Splatters

Back to the whole scare the crap out of me bit...Did anyone else see this version of Alice in Wonderland that was made for TV? I absolutely love it and love all the songs from it, but I rarely find anyone who has seen it or remembers it! It was hard for me to forget because the Jabberwocky scene scared me to death as a kid! Anyone remember this?

Happy Thursday!

Lemming Lacquer Eat Me

I love an Alice in Wonderland theme. This is why I was attracted to Lemming Lacquer's first collection off the bat, but they're more than that.  Lemming Lacquer is a new indie brand to the scene, and they've really hit it off well. This is a brand that knows what they're doing, how to do it, and does it exceptionally well from their nail polish, packaging, to customer service.

I picked up some pretties from a recent sale and I'm so impressed. This is one of the colors I bought.

Eat Me (over Curiouser & Curiouser!)
Eat Me is a mix of matte rainbow and white glitters in a clear base.

Collection: Lemming Lacquer Curiosities from Wonderland Spring 2015

Color: You cannot go wrong with a rainbow glitter. Eat Me has such a pretty array of primary and pastel matte glitter colors. The white glitters add a nice touch that ground the rest of the colors.

Formula: Excellent and easy to use glitter formula. I did not need to fish for glitters in this at all. I used 2 coats above. Dabbing will allow you to place more glitters on the nail, but it's not necessary. You can get a nice amount of glitters on the nail with just swiping your brush.

Price: This is $8.00 on the Lemming Lacquer website.

Overall: Eat Me is one of those pretty straightforward polishes. It's a lovely rainbow glitter that is easy to apply and looks great!

My Rating: 5 out of 5 Paint Splatters
Happy Wednesday!
