Ninja Polish Reality

*The following product was received in exchange for my honest review.

I have a totally cool holo to share with you today from Ninja Polish. This is one of the polishes I received in Vegas from Rhonni the owner herself during Cosmoprof. She asked bloggers to pick out a color from her Infinity Gems collection. The polish Reality stood out to me the most because it is a yellow holo! I do not own a yellow holo and it is not something I really recall seeing much in nail polish.

Reality
Reality is a yellow holographic.

Collection: Ninja Polish Infinity Gems Summer 2015

Color: This isn't gold and this isn't green. This is yellow and a yellow holo at that! I didn't think these really could exist. This does have the slightest, and I mean slightest touch of green to it, but this most definitely reads yellow! This color is amazing!

Formula: Yellow in general is a difficult color in nail polish when it comes to formula. Yellow holo, I wasn't sure what to expect. This formula is excellent though, and I'm very impressed. This applied opaquely, smoothly, and easily. I only needed 2 coats.

Price: This is $10.00 on the Ninja Polish website. You can also purchase the entire set Infinity Gems polishes for  $70.00.

Overall: This is a definite must have polish for me. I'm so impressed and thrilled by so many aspects of this polish from color to formula. I love the yellow. I love that it's holo. I have so much love for this polish, and it definitely will be a Top 25 of 2015 contender!

Third Week Throwbacks: Ninja Polish Pinkerbell

If you've been around nail polish for awhile you'll remember Floam. Floam  is what in my opinion jump started the indie craze. This was a polish that was composed of neon matte glitters. I know neon matte glitters doesn't sound really innovative now, but 3 years ago this was unheard of in nail polish. The advent of Floam spurred on the arrival of more Floam like glitters in various different colors. One of those was Pinkerbell made my Ninja Polish.

Pinkerbell over Sally Hansen Babe Blue
Pinkerbell is a mix of bight blue, yellow, and pink matte glitters in a clear base.

Collection: Ninja Polish Floam Collection 2012

Color: I love this color combination in this glitter. It's very sweet and girly, but fun at the same time. It's a great mix of colors where all colors equally shine.

Formula: The formula on this is OK. 2015 indie formulations are a lot better than 2012 formulations. I used 2 coats above, and I had to layer it. The formula is a on the thick side, and I found I really had to dab this glitter on rather than paint it on.

Price: This is $10 on the Ninja Polish website.

Overall: I really like Pinkerbell it's an old school indie favorite. I love the colors and type of glitter. The formula at the time was good, but compared to indie formulas now, it does have some pitfalls. I don't think that's a deal breaker at all though. Pinkerbell still gets love from me!

Ninja Polish Mystic Glacier

I love Ninja Polishes! I have a very extensive and growing wishlist from them. What I love most about Ninja Polish is their ability to create many of polish addicts biggest polish desires. They have beautiful holographic , multi-chromes, and color-shifting beauties that satisfy many polish cravings! Mystic Glacier is one of the many.

Mystic Glacier over Julie G Cabana Boy
Mystic Glacier is an ice blue sheer base with color shifting shimmer that flashes green, yellow, orange, and pink.

Color: This is gorgeous. Unfortunately, my camera didn't pick up the color shift, but even this is the bomb! This looks really incredible over dark colors, but I wanted to test it over something lighter. It's still awesome. This polish is in the same vein as Max Factor Fantasy Fire, but varies with the blue base.

Formula: Easy breezy to work with formula. A+

Price: $11.00 on Ninja Polish website. This one is currently out of stock, but if you're interested I highly recommend using the "Email When In" stock feature. I've been able to score all of the out of stock polishes I've wanted this way.

Overall: Beautiful drool-worthy polish. This one does not disappoint. Love. Love.

Ninja Polish Pinkerbell Floam

Second star to the right, and straight on til' morning! Ok, this polish isn't called Tinker Bell, it's Pinkerbell, but it makes me think of Tinker Bell, so there! Today, I have to share with you Pinkerbell, which is one of those original "floam" type polishes that I think really jumped started the indie polish craze. Some may say Lynnderella started it, yes, but for me it was floam polishes!

Pinkerbell over LA Girl Flare
Pinkerbell is a mix of yellow, blue, and pink glitters in a clear base.

Color: Love this mix of colors, it's girly, playful, and just so darn cute. The name is Pinkerbell for goodness sakes!

Formula: The formula on this was good. I wish this provided more coverage. I used one coat over a base, and it's suggested 2 coats will give you full coverage. I still think this one really need a base to stand out.

Price: I paid $9.00 for this on the Ninja Polish website. Of course, this is currently sold out. I do really recommend if you like this to use the "Email When In Stock" feature. Majority of the time, I've been able to snag a polish I wanted because I used this feature and was emailed.

Overall: Love this glitter. It's another one of those polishes that just simply makes me giddy. The color and the name, it doesn't take much to please me!

Nail-venturous/Ninja Polish: Humble Bee

I have an exaggerated fear of stinging insects. I really do. I have never been stung by a bee, wasp, hornet...nada. I plan to make that a lifetime record. That does not mean I am composed about it though. If I see a stinging creature within 3-5ft of me I freak out. I mean like screaming bloody murder running away like a crazy person freak out. I assume that any stinging creature is out to sting me. I will not ruin my record. Plus, I'm seriously afraid I'd allergic, since my father is. I don't want to go into some anaphylactic shock and die due to a bee sting. That's a sad way to go. Yes, I'm sure I'm over dramatizing this, but suffice it to say I try to keep my distance from those guys.

I actually do find honey bees and bumble bees quite cute......in pictures. My stinging insect phobia has not kept me away from this awesome cleverly named Nail- Humble Bee polish either.

Humble Bee over Milani Black Swift

Humble Bee is a mixture of matte black and yellow glitters in a clear base.

You can layer this on its own, but you will still have some tiny bald spots on your nail. It would be hard to tell from a distance, but I prefer it layered. It looks awesome! Very bee-like in a friendly non-stinging and non anaphylactic shock kind of way. I really like this glitter, and it's definitely different from anything I have. I liked the formula on this too. It was very easy to use.

I got this on Ninja Polish for $9.00. It is currently out of stock, but you can sign up for Ninja Polish to email you when it is back!

Happy Wednesday!
