Pahlish Watermelon Punch

*The following product was provided in exchange for my honest review.

I have another Cosmprof indie Vegas polish to share with you today. I picked up this one at the Cocktails & Colors event from Pahlish. She had offered a polish of hers to each of us as we visited with her at her table. This one immediately caught my eye. It was eye searing bright pink and that was enough to sell me on it!

Watermelon Punch
Watermelon Punch is a neon watermelon pink crelly with white, violet, and blue flakies.

Collection: Pahlish Tropical Trio July 2015

Color: Pink is not a color I really see celebrated or released in nail polish much anymore. I get it, it's a pretty general color and no very exciting in comparison to others. I love an amazing and innovative pink though and Watermelon Punch is just that. This bright crelly pink with the added flakies is different, fun, and definitely a one of kind pink shade.

Formula: The formula on this was a little bit on the thick side. I could still work with it, but I'd prefer if it were just a tinge thinner. I used 3 coats for full coverage.

Price: Please don't get mad at me, but this one isn't available anymore :(. This I think was LE for last month and part of a trio of 2 other colors.

Overall: I love this creative and fun pink shade. This nail polish brings and smile to my face with just how bright and awesome it is. It also makes me crave more fun pinks like Watermelon Punch. Awesome pinks are possible!

Elevation Polish & Pahlish Collab: The Venetian Duo

*The following products were provided in exchange for my honest review.

I have collaboration duo share with you today brought you by Elevation Polish and Pahlish. This the duo for August called The Venetian Duo inspired by the Netflix series Marco Polo. Side Note: I think I should watch that show, it sounds like it would be something I'd really like.

The cool thing about this duo is the Elevation Polish The Merchant's Sea is a thermal polish. I'm a thermal polish virgin, so this was a neat and interesting experience for me. I'll get into that in a minute!

Elevation Polish The Merchant's Sea (cool)

Elevation Polish The Merchant's Sea (warm)
The Merchant's Sea in a cold state is dusty turquoise with a blue/green shimmer, while in a warm state is in brighter turquoise with a blue green shimmer.

Here was my thermal polish conundrum. I put this polish on and immersed my fingers in cold water. Nothing happened. Well, I live in an igloo. It is so hot in humid here in summer, I blast my A/C anytime I'm inside. An emperor penguin would be content in my apartment. I then realized The Merchant's Sea was already in the cold state just by my room temperature. I switched to warm water and that's when I saw it change to a lighter and brighter turquoise shade! Problem solved.

Pahlish The Wayfarer over The Merchant's Sea
The Wayfarer is a clear base mixed with metallic chrome flakies, iridescent glitter, and silvery/iridescent shimmer.

Collection: Elevation Pahlish The Venetian Duo August 2015

Color: These are both beautiful colors. I love the depth The Merchant's Sea has with that added shimmer, it really elevates that gorgeous turquoise shade. The Wayfarer is a beautiful compliment. I love the mix of the metallic flakes and the iridescent glitter. This glitter mix reminds me of shattered glass bottles. The colors are cool and muted and balance out perfectly with The Merchant's Sea.

Formula: Both of these polishes had excellent and easy to use formulas. I used 2 coats of The Merchant's Sea and 1 coat of The Wayfarer.

Price: This duo is $22 and can be purchased on Pahlish's shop. This will be available in Elevation Polish's shop on August 7th.

Overall: Beautiful duo! I am in love with these colors and think it's they compliment each other perfectly. These were very thoughtfully made for sure. The formulas are also great, and I think everyone would be very happy to have these!

Pahlish Black Lace Elderberry

I have a pretty indie polish by Pahlish to share with you today. This one had been on my wishlist for a long time, and was gifted to me by a friend a little while ago. I love polish presents! Who doesn't?

Black Lace Elderberry
Black Lace Elderberry is a rich grape purple jelly with tiny red metallic flakes and orange hex glitters.

Color: I really love the use of purple and orange together in this polish. The orange really pops nicely against the rich purple, and warms the whole polish up. The red flakes also add dimension and depth.

Formula: This is a sheerer jelly-like formula. I used 4 coats here, but you could get away with 3. I preferred a more opaque look with this polish. I did not have any issues with application.

Price: This is $9.00 on the Pahlish website.

Overall: Black Lace Elderberry is a rich and complex polish. The color combination is unexpected which makes it unique. This is a really nice polish. I don't own anything else like it.

Pahlish Fever and Mirrors & Greenery and Humid Air

* I received the following products in exchange for my honest review by Pahlish.

I have newer Pahlish colors to share with you today. I have a few Pahlish polishes (fun to say), and what I love about Pahlish is how they master the jelly glitter. I love a glitter topper, but jelly glitters are pretty awesome. I love how glitters and shimmers in jelly bases peek through the coats of polish. I think you'll like these next polishes for that reason.

Fever and Mirrors
Fever and Mirrors is a deep wine jelly with gold shimmer, gold circles, holographic gold squares, and scattered holographic gold hexes.

Greenery and Humid Air
Greenery and Humid Air is a deep teal jelly polish with an assortment of purple, aqua, and pink shimmers accented by sparse holographic shimmer and green microglitters.

Colors: These are brilliantly rich jewel toned colors. When I think of fall and winter these are the types of colors I want to sport. These are all that, but elevated with the addition of glitters and the jelly base. I don't have colors like this in my collection, and I'm very glad I do now.

Formula: The polishes applied well. Greenery and Humid Air, I used three coats. However, you will need to take a little extra care when applying Fever and Mirrors. I used 4 coats to achieve the look above. I recommend using thin coats and waiting a little bit between each coat. This will help avoid any dragging of the base.

Price: These are $9.00 each on Pahlish's website. *Note: Store site will open at 7pm central tonight (9/6)!

Overall: I can't get over how rich and luxurious these colors are. They are exactly what I've been craving. If you've been let down by some of the mainstream brand fall collections, I think these will tickle your fancy for sure. Fever in Mirrors really stands out to me, and it has gone on my list as a contender for my Top 20 of 2013!
