Serum No.5 Yule Light Up My Life

*I received the following product in exchange for my honest review.

I have a polish I received at Cosmoprof that fits into the holidays! I'm trying to make sure I cover as many holiday polishes as I can because time will fly by! I was happy I had a Cosmoprof one that fit the holiday theme! This is another one by Serum No.5, and what makes this one extra special is that it glows in the dark!

Yule Light Up My Life

Yule Light Up My Life- Glow in the Dark
Yule Light Up My life is a rainbow glitter base in a milky glow in the dark base.

Collection: Serum No.5 Holiday 2014

Color: This is pretty amazing. You can wear this layered or on its own. I chose to wear it on its own because the base of this has some milkiness/cloudiness to it that does cover your nail more than a clear polish. I'm guessing that milkiness is caused by the glow pigment. I love this polish. It is perfectly festive and fun. I love array of color glitters in here as well as the variety of sizes. The glow factor is strong too. I don't recall ever seeing a polish that glows white either.

Formula: This had an excellent and easy to use formula for a glitter. I used 3 coats above and found this glitter applied very easy to the nail.

Price: This is $13.00 on Serum No.5's website.

Overall: This is another all star polish for me. I love everything about it . The color of the glitter. The opacity of the polish and the formula is great. The glow factor is always a plus. This is another polish that just makes me happy. I love everything about Yule Light Up My Life!

Serum No. 5 Power Reflective Top Coat

*I received the following product in exchange for my honest review.

Yes, I'm still working through Cosmoprof polishes! This one is by Serum No. 5. This is my first polish from them, but I'm very familiar with the brand as I've been oogling over their polishes for a long time. This polish is definite oogle worthy!

Power (over Color Club Take A Hike)
Power is a clear blase filled with a rainbow of multichrome micro flakies.

Color: Wow! This is perfection. I love the rainbow of color-shifting flakies in Power. This shiny, sparkly, and color-shifty (hehe)! This is stunning. I don't have much else to say about that.

Formula: Top notch. I love the size of these flakies. They're teeny which gives you excellent coverage. I used one coat above and this was a breeze apply. You can see the great coverage I got in only one coat.

Price: This is $14.50 on Serum No. 5's website.

Overall: Power is a beautiful flakie topper. I love the rainbow of colors and the multichrome effect. The formula is spectacular and it's just an all around winning polish!

Lemming Lacquer Eat Me

I love an Alice in Wonderland theme. This is why I was attracted to Lemming Lacquer's first collection off the bat, but they're more than that.  Lemming Lacquer is a new indie brand to the scene, and they've really hit it off well. This is a brand that knows what they're doing, how to do it, and does it exceptionally well from their nail polish, packaging, to customer service.

I picked up some pretties from a recent sale and I'm so impressed. This is one of the colors I bought.

Eat Me (over Curiouser & Curiouser!)
Eat Me is a mix of matte rainbow and white glitters in a clear base.

Collection: Lemming Lacquer Curiosities from Wonderland Spring 2015

Color: You cannot go wrong with a rainbow glitter. Eat Me has such a pretty array of primary and pastel matte glitter colors. The white glitters add a nice touch that ground the rest of the colors.

Formula: Excellent and easy to use glitter formula. I did not need to fish for glitters in this at all. I used 2 coats above. Dabbing will allow you to place more glitters on the nail, but it's not necessary. You can get a nice amount of glitters on the nail with just swiping your brush.

Price: This is $8.00 on the Lemming Lacquer website.

Overall: Eat Me is one of those pretty straightforward polishes. It's a lovely rainbow glitter that is easy to apply and looks great!
