One of the things you don't see behind the scenes of many nail bloggers is nail and hand care. One of my favorite products to use on my hands are scrubs. I have handful around and I use them a few times a week. I like how they gently remove dead skin while leaving my hands really soft and silky.
There are few things in my experience that I do not like about scrubs.
1) They can be pricey.
2) You often have to commit to one jar of one scent.
3) They're bulky and can take up space in your bathroom.
4) They can get messy in the sink and end up wasting some product.
Savvy Naturalista has resolved all of these issues with her Mani Mochis. These are small sugar scrubs made of a thick paste of sugar, salt, butters, and gentle cleansers molded in to an array of cute shapes. These are inexpensive and come in a variety of scents. Each Mani Mochi has about 2-4 uses per mochi. You can get use out of one mochi, but still have the freedom to switch up scents with the affordable price point. Savvy Naturalista also makes Mega Mochis which are larger and denser and can be used on your body.

Mr. Kitty's ears were delicate and didn't survive transit, but that's OK. This does not effect the product in anyway. His ears are still usable, they just broke off.
The mochis have labels with with ingredients, directions, and their scent name.
How To Use: Cut your mani scrubs into 2-3 equally sized pieces and then decide which one you wish to use on your hands first. After you have gotten your hands wet under the running water, gently rub the mani mochi all over your hands and watch it smear into a wonderful smooth paste all over hands. Once you have exfoliated your hands rinse well, dry and add a light hand cream.

My Experience: I found I could break these apart in my hands. The only more delicate one is the cat, but the other shapes are sturdier and denser. They're dense enough to hold together, but not enough where you can't use your hands to break them. I found I could get around 2-4 uses out of each mochi dependent on how much I needed/wanted to use at the time. The remaining bits of the mochis I just put on a soap dish next to the sink so they could stay dry.
What I loved about these is the thickness of the scrub paste. I find some sugar scrubs can be gloppy and messy where you end up losing a lot of product in the sink. This scrub stayed on on your hands during application because of the thickness. I didn't feel a rush to wash it off because it was falling off my hands or disintegrating in use.
These mochis left my hands feeling not only smooth and silky, but moisturized as well. I have found some other sugar scrubs to leave my hands feeling a bit parched after I use them. I always apply lotion after sugar scrubs, but this left some moisture in my hands as well!
Overall: These are excellent for so many reasons. First of all, you cannot beat that price. I absolutely love that you can buy handful of these and not break bank. I get tired of scents quickly, so I love that I can try a lot of different scents and don't have to commit to one. I also love that each individual mochi does have 2-4 uses so it's not one and done either. Second of all, this is just an all around great product. I love how these mochis worked, the thickness of the product, and how they left my hands feeling afterwards. These Mani Mochis are excellent products and I think they'd also make amazing stocking stuffer gifts for the holidays !
