Indie InLinkz: Halloween Mani

It's time for another Indie InLinkz post. Indie InLinkz is a group of bloggers who do an indie-themed mani every month. This month's prompt was Halloween. I realized how few Halloween polishes I have especially in indie. I love Halloween, but for some reason I have very few Halloween nail polishes. I think it's because I don't really wear orange nail polish a lot, except Halloween. I tend to weed those out when I do my yearly nail polish purge, because I really only wear them once a year.

I did manage to find some other Halloween polishes or well, made some polishes work for Halloween to do my mani.

Polishes Used: Pretty Jelly I See Dead People, KBShimmer The Grape Beyond, and Sindie Pop! Jinkies!

I like it. I'm not sure any of it really goes together, but Halloween isn't really a sophisticated and done up holiday. It can be mix matched and silly!

Indie InLinkz: Favorite Fall Color

It's times for another Indie InLinkz post. Indie Inlinkz is a group of bloggers who do monthly posts that feature indie polishes. This month's theme was our favorite fall color. I didn't even need to think about this one at all. I knew exactly what fall nail polish was going to grab.

One of the colors I feel like gets really neglected in nail polish especially when it comes to the fall season is pink. Let's face it, pink is hard to make unique or special these days. I love pink though, and what I love even more is a innovative pink. Pinks with pizzazz that fit the fall/winter seasons are some of my favorites. When I spotted this Sindie POP! polish back in 2012 I knew my pink fall polish prayers had been answered. This polish became my favorite fall polish ever, and it still holds that title!

Golden Raspberries
Golden Raspberries is a dusty rose-mauve packed with golden glitters and shimmer.

Collection: Sindie POP! Fall 2012

Color: Now this is a fall pink! You take a pink you make it dusty and you add golden glitter and shimmer. This is a beautifully unique color. I absolutely adore it and I think I may even love it more now than when it first came out. I still haven't seen anything like this color or even close to it. This color combination is elegant, rich, and perfect for fall.

Formula: This has a great formula. The glitters apply easily to the nail. I used 3 coats.

Price: You can purchase this from the Sindie POP! website for $10.

Overall: This is an all-star polish for me. I absolutely love everything about it. There have been 3 years of fall indie polish releases between the release of Golden Raspberries and now. Golden Raspberries beats out anything in the past 3 years and is my definite fall indie favorite!

My Rating: 5 out of 5 *Golden* Paint Splatters

Way-Cool Mani Wednesday: Thanksgiving Glitter Gradient

Even thought I've been in the holiday spirit since November 1st, I can say it is now officially the holiday season in my book. I love the holiday season. Tonight, is also the first night of Hanukkah.  Hanukkah/Thanksgiving combo is pretty epic. I don't know if I can contain myself. I will be making potato latkes instead of mashed potatoes with the turkey tomorrow. Woo hoo!

On to my Thanksgiving inspired nails before I ramble on about holiday cheer, scented candles, and pie.

Polishes Used:
Zoya Angelina & Sindie Pop Jinkies!

Manicure Description:
I painted all my nails with Zoya Angelina and did a glitter gradient ontop using Sindie Pop Jinkies!

Sindie Pop Zoinks

I was pretty excited when I saw Sindie Pop had a Mystery Gang collection out inspired by Scooby Doo. Scooby Doo was hands down my favorite cartoon from probably ages 8-11. I know I watched it on Cartoon Network every night no matter if I had seen the episode before or not. I also had sleepovers with my childhood friend Allison where we'd watch Scooby Doo marathons all night! Sigh, I miss childhood. Anyways, I picked up Zoinks! from this collection.

Zoinks! over JulieG Holla-peno

Zoinks! is a mixture of lime green, gold, and red-violet glitters in a clear base.

This is a fun glitter. I love the color combination which is inspired by Shaggy. I never would of thought to pair these colors together as far as nail polish goes, but they look awesome! This applied really easy, and would look great layered over many different colors

Back to Scooby Doo...My favorite Scooby Doo series was definitely Scooby Doo Where Are You? My favorite episode was Bedlam in the Big Top. Clowns always freaked me out, but I loved this episode. Ahhh creepy clown!

I purchased this polish for $9.00 on Sindie Pop! Lacquer's website. **NOTE** Mystery Gang Collection Restock will be TODAY @ 12pm PST!

Be sure to follow Sindie Pop! Lacquer on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter

Were you a Scooby Doo fan? What was your favorite episode?

Sindie Pop! Sky Sparkle

I have an absolutely stunning polish to show you guys today. This is one of those polishes that makes you do a double take it is that gorgeous. This polish is made my Sindie Pop! Lacquer. I've been a fan of Sindie Pop! since her fall collection. Sindie Pop! makes some very impressive polishes. I can't get enough!

Sky Sparkle

Sky Sparkle is a sheer white base mixed with blue, purple, silver, and micro holo glitters.

This is jammed packed with glitter. I used 3 coats on its own. The best thing about this polish is it was a dream to work with. I've found glitters of this style in indie brands and mainstream brands really tricky to work with. This was absolutely not the case with Sky Sparkle. This applied smoothly, and I did not feel I had to put in any extra effort to apply this.

This is truly stunning. I honestly think the picture can speak for itself. I really don't have anything more I can add. Just look at it!!

Here is recent mani I did using Sinful Colors Morning Star and Sindie Pop! Sky Sparkle as an accent.

You need this. I'm calling it a must have! I think I may get myself a second bottle.

I purchased this polish on Sindie Pop! Lacquer's website for $8.00.

Happy Thursday!

Sindie Pop! Lacquer- Velvet Darkness

Today, I have my most used and favorite indie polish for this fall. This one is by Sindie Pop Lacquer. I blogged about her other polishes Golden Raspberries and Sea of Dreams recently. I purchased this next polish along with those 2 others that were a part of her fall collection.

Velvet Darkness

Velvet Darkness is a deep purple base with micro silver holo glitters, silver hex glitters, and fuchsia hex glitters.

This is amazing! If this makes sense, I'm a big fan of non-traditional seasonal colors. You know the ones that  read as holiday or fall, but are not literal representations? This is completely a perfect fall color without it being the traditional orange, red, yellow, etc type of color. The deep purple base is the highlight of this color. It is unexpected, and it reads as a deep purple on the nail, not as a black. The glitter is great addition.  I love how you can see the previous coats of glitter layered under the jelly, it's a cool effect. Can you tell I love it? The formula as nice on this one too. It was easy to apply.

I purchased this one from Sindie Pop Lacquer's website. Sindie Pop is having a special for Cyber Monday where all of her polishes are $7 for today only! If you'e a fan of indie polish or jelly glitter, I highly recommend you pick this one up!

Happy Monday!

Sindie Pop! Lacquer- Golden Raspberries

I have a pretty autumn indie polish from you. This is another polish from Sindie Pop! Lacquer. I absolutely loved her fall collection. This is one of the other fall polishes I picked up last month when she released the collection.

Golden Raspberries

Golden Raspberries is a dusty rosy-mauve packed hex gold glitters in different sizes.

I love this. You know I do. It has gold glitter! I love these colors together. This was the first color I saw from Sindie Pop! Lacquer's fall collection that let me know I would love this indie brand. It is a beautiful color combination that I have not seen yet. This was also 2 coats! Yes, 2 coats! This color is also so perfect for fall, and it's not even an expected fall nail polish shade either. So in love. I'm calling it a must have in my book!

I purchased this from Sindie Pop! Lacquer's shop for $8.00. Be sure to like her Facebook page too!

Happy Monday!

Sindie POP! Lacquer: Sea of Dreams

Sindie POP! Lacquer is a new to me indie brand I discovered through Crystal's Crazy Combos blog recently. I'm so glad I did. When I found out the release date of her fall line I stalked Facebook for the announcement that her shop was stocked. I love nail polish, but for something to get me that excited isn't that common. This is one of the polishes I picked up from the fall line.

Sea of Dreams

Sea of Dreams is a blue jelly loaded with aqua and blue glitters.

You can get opacity with 2-3  thin coats of this. This is not a sheer glitter by any means. It is so sparkly too. The light touches the glitter and it's sparkle city.  It is a thick polish because of all the glitter, but not difficult to work with. It is a truly beautiful polish. I love blue. I love glitter. I love jellies. This ticks all the boxes for me. Stunning!

I purchased this polish for $8.00 from Sindie POP! Lacquer's website.

Happy Friday!
