**There is now a BOGO free special on my blog sale. I've added new items as well. Check it out if you're interested!**
I know, this color is HTF, but it's so amazing I have to share. I have avoided posting HTF and higher end stuff on this blog because I felt it's not really fair to show people stuff that is difficult or expensive to get your hands on. That being said, I have a few rare beauties, that haven't seen the light of day on this blog. This will never become a nail blog full of high end polishes because I simply don't have the money for them, but the few I've spent an extra penny on are so worth showing you guys, because they're some of my favorites!
DS Ruby
DS Ruby is a cherry red holo
This is a great holographic polish, and I love that it's red. We need more red holos! Despite its greatness, it does have a flaw, this is chip city. I don't know how to make this work. I don't wear base coat with holos because I find it makes them apply streaky and uneven. I put top coat on them despite it does dull the holo-ness, but it chips like crazy. I've had this issue with pretty much any holographic polish. Le sigh.

a-england Tristam
When I first saw a press release for a-england polishes, I know I would have to end up trying some of these. I have to admit the price of these polishes is outside my normal budget, and with overseas shipping I knew I'd have to hold off on these beauties. Then a-england offered their free shipping promo through the month and June (which is now being extended to July 15th), and I took advantage of that opportunity to try this brand. I was not disappointed! Today, I have for you Tristam.
Tristam
Tristam is a rich indigo blue scattered holographic polish.
Adina, founder of a-england describes Tristam as a "night blue sky with starlight glimmer and glow".
I think it's pretty clear, that this color is absolutely stunning. The pigmentation is stellar, and the this shade of blue is beautiful.
Instead of talking about how great this color is, I want to talk about a-england as a polish brand. There is more to a brand than creating beautiful colors. That's only part of the deal. a-england already succeeds in that, but they succeed at other things too. This is what makes a-england extra special.
Adina, the founder is incredibly sweet and engaging with her customers, fans, and bloggers. She really goes the extra mile and making you feel welcome and appreciated. This is an experience you do not get with more popular brands, but it makes the world of difference.
Also, what I love about a-england is how whimsical and captivating the brand is. I've posted a few times, that some of my favorite nail polish colors are the ones that are connected to a memory or remind me of something special. a-england's Mythicals collection creates this magical story for you. Who hasn't been captivated by the story of King Arthur? It's one of those timeless legends that most everyone has heard of. Adina, has created a line of polishes that are not only beautiful, but give off the vibe of elegance and whimsy.
Needless today, it's all these elements that will keep me going back to this brand. I have a lot of respect for a small business. My father has owned a small business since 1989, and you have to have passion and drive to succeed. I see that with Adina and a-england. I'll keep going back for more free shipping or not. When you have a wonderful product along with amazing service and a great experience, it's worth every penny!
Happy Monday!

Bottle Spam Saturday: OPI Edition
Sorry, I missed you guys yesterday. I miss one post, and I feel like I'm so so behind!
This week's bottle spam is OPI! I have to say my OPI has grown over the last year. I used to only have 2 OPIs. I think OPI has become less predictable as a brand. Their collections are a lot more fun and funky than they used to be. Go OPI!
Please vote for next week's bottle spam.
Bubble Bath, Suzi and The Lifeguard, Sparrow Me The Drama, & Windy City Pretty
Chapel of Love, Pink Me I'm Good, & Too Hot Pink To Hold Em'
DS Ruby, You Rock-apulco Red, Red Dazzle, The Show Must Go On, La Boheme, & Teas-y Does It
Guy Meet Gal-veston, Monsooner or Later, & Ya'll Come Back Ya Hear!
Mermaid Tears, Catch Me In Your Net, Ski Teal We Drop, & Glacier Bay Blues
Suzi Says Feng Shui, DS Glamour, & Dating a Royal
Do You Lilac It?, Planks A Lot, Mad as a Hatter, Funky Dunkey, & Ink
Catherine the Grape, Miami Beet, Mrs. O'Leary's BBQ, & Lincoln Park After Dark
Lucerne-tainly Look Marvelous, Silver Shatter, & Black Shatter

OPI Y'all Come Back ,Ya Hear?
Thank you so much to all of your who commented to me on my last post. I greatly appreciate all of your support and kindness. It means so much to me. :)
Orange, is not one of my favorite colors. Orange did not hurt my feelings or call me names. It's just orange isn't my cup of tea....usually. Oddly enough, orange has become one of my favorite nail polish colors this season. I think orange in small doses (at least for me) I really like. I think it all started with China Glaze Papaya Punch, since then I've been on an orange kick. I like the vibrancy of orange, and it's a nice deviation from reds and pinks that I usually reach for on the warmer end of the color spectrum. I love this sorbet from the OPI Texas collection.
Ya'll Come Back, Ya Hear?
Ya'll Come Back, Ya Hear? is a vibrant medium orange jelly/sorbet.
I love juicy colors like this. I don't think you can go wrong with the jelly/sorbet finish, it's one of my all times favorite. It's a great shade of orange too, it's definitely bright, but nothing blinding or crazy. Overall, Imperfectly Painted approved!
Is there a color this summer you've been wearing a lot of?
