Storytime: I thought for probably over 8 months I owned Zoya Bevin. When Zoya's 3 Free promo came around I thought this would be a great opportunity to get Zoya Wednesday which I had always had my eye on. I ordered Zoya Wednesday, and then I went to look at my Zoya stash. I picked up what I thought was Zoya Bevin, and looked under the bottle and saw it said "Wednesday".
Huh?!?!?
I looked through all my other Zoyas, and I did not find Zoya Bevin. Apparently, this entire time I had Zoya Wednesday and never had Zoya Bevin in the first place. How did this happened? I don't know. I guess I assumed I had Bevin, and never bothered to check! Oops! Anyways, I now had an extra Zoya Wednesday coming to me, and I wanted Bevin! I found out Zoya Bevin and OPI Thanks a Windmillion were dupes, and Bridget over at Luxe Beauty Forever swapped me her OPI Thanks a Windmillion for my Zoya Wednesday! Problem solved. Thanks Bridget!
Thanks a Windmillion
Thanks a Windmillion is a dusty sea foam green creme.
Gorgeous! You know green is not a typical color I wear, so this is different for me. I absolutely adore this color. I suck at describing colors I love. This is just beautiful, and I think you all need it! Look at it! Thanks a Windmillion was part of OPI Holland Spring 2012 collection.
Happy Wednesday!

Borghese Mediterraneo Sea
I wanted to revisit and oldie, but a goodie today. The downside to this is this isn't something you can find easily anymore. That being said I've seen it listed on ebay and Amazon for reasonable prices. I cannot attest to the reliability of the sellers, but I wanted to throw it out there!
I re-discovered this one thanks to my friend Alyssa over at Pretty Little Bottles. There are times when I can't decide what to paint my nails, so I'll text her and tell her to pick a number 1-19. I have 18 Helmer drawers, and one extra plastic container for odds and ends polishes (this holds polishes I only have 1-2 from a brand). The number she picks I'll pick a polish from that drawer. This time she picked #19, which was my odds and ends drawer of polishes, so I picked Borghese Mediterraneo Sea. I haven't worn this polish since it came out in 2010.
Meditteraneo Sea
Meditteraneo Sea is a medium blue base with multi colored small hex glitter throughout.
How could I have forgotten this beauty?!? This is a stunning polish. I don't know how to describe it. It kind of looks like sea glass with glitter, stained glass, or tiles you see in a Grecian or Roman bath? Whatever it looks like it's beautiful. This does dry matte, but I think it is so much prettier with top coat. A top coat allows the glitter and the base to really shine and sparkle!

Zoya Blaze
You learned last week that despite seeing, trying, and testing I could not come to like Zoya Aurora. I also said I picked up some other colors from this collection to try. I have Zoya Blaze to show you today. How will I feel about this one?
Blaze
Blaze is a raspberry jelly base with scattered holographic glitter throughout.
I like this one guys! This is more my kind of polish. What I like about this one more than Aurora is the base blends with glitters. I also find the glitter is finer, and I like that it peaks through the jelly base rather than how it is overwhelmed in Aurora. I don't want to be negative Nancy, while I do like this polish, it isn't a standout to me. I guess the Zoya Ornate collection and I just don't mesh well, but that's ok!
Which polish do you prefer Zoya Blaze or Aurora?
Happy Monday!

China Glaze Mosaic Madness
When I first saw swatches of China Glaze Glitz Bitz N' Pieces collection I pretended not to like them at all. My excuse.....they had bar glitter. The truth is I lied. I actually really liked this collection, but I didn't want to feel I needed it so I tried to convince myself otherwise. Have you all done this before? I couldn't hold out very long with that sham. I ended up purchasing the entire collection, and I'm glad I did. I didn't have time to swatch the entire collection for one post, so you'll be seeing this individually over the next few weeks.
This one is probably one of my favorites of the bunch. I decided to swatch this one a little differently for you. I wanted to show you how I would choose to wear this as a manicure. I most likely would not use this on all of my nails, but I think these would make a killer accent nail!
Mosaic Madness over a white creme (accent nail)
China Glaze First Mate (rest of nails)
Mosaic Madness is a mixture of royal blue glitter in varying sizes, black hex glitters in varying sizes, and larger black bar glitters in a clear base.
This is probably the coolest glitter topper I own. The combination of blue with black, the sizes of the glitter, and the bar glitter I find really create art on the nail without you doing the work. This really looks like splatter paint nails to me. The way I'm wearing it in this photo is how I'd choose to wear this. I love the contrast of the coordinating blue creme polish on the nails with that pop of awesomeness on the accent nail.
I adore this, and I am beyond impressed with China Glaze with this collection. I think this polish gives you artsy and creative nails in an effortless way. I used 2 coats of the glitter here, it was so easy to use. You need this one. I'm declaring it a must have, and it is the first polish I've put on my list as a possible contender for my Top 20 of 2013.
Happy Friday!
