OPI Today I Accomplished Zero

I have a fun polish to share with you today. This one had been on my wishlist a couple of months, and I recently got in a Secret Santa exchange. This one is from the OPI Coca-Cola collection. I liked this one in particular, because it's the color that represents my favorite Coca-Cola product, Coke Zero. I love Coke Zero! Any other Coke Zero fans out there?

Today I Accomplished Zero
Today I Accomplished Zero is a black jelly base with pink glitter.

Collection: OPI Coca-Cola 2014

Color: This is a winning polish. I love black jelly glitter polishes, but rarely do I find one that doesn't drown out the glitter. The glitter and base in this are on level playing fields. The glitter pops against the base here for sure.

Formula: The formula on this is excellent. I only needed 2 coats, and it applied very smoothly and evenly. The formula on this impressed me, because other black jelly glitters I have do tend to have funky formulas.

Price: This one may take some searching, since I don't see it in stores anymore. An internet search will find you many e-tailers who sell this in the $8-$9.50 range.

Ovearll: I love this polish so much. One, it's named after my favorite kind of soft drink, Two, the color is outstanding. Three, the formula is great. Awesome polish!

HPB Presents: Winter Mani

It's time for another Hobby Polish Bloggers link-up! Hobby Polish Bloggers is a group I founded on Facebook  for prospective, new, and long-time nail polish bloggers who blog mainly for fun or solely as a hobby. Hobby Polish Bloggers offers members a welcoming, friendly, and supporting environment for any type of blogger.

This month's link-up theme is a holiday or winter themed mani. I had a lot of fun doing this mani. I went the route of winter, and loved this mani so much I wore it for an entire week! I didn't want to take it off.

Polishes Used: KBShimmer Too Cold To Hold and Sonnetarium Snowfall

Manicure Description: I painted my base using KBShimmer Too Cold To Hold, and created some snowy glitter gradient tips using Sonnetarium Snowfall.

Orly Bling

I'm running out of time for holiday polish! When did Christmas sneak up so quickly? I have another Orly Sparkle polish to share with you today.

Bling over Cult Nails Sublime
Bling is a gold holographic microglitter in a clear base.

Color: What I like about this is the intensity of this glitter. There is a lot of it, and it really makes a statement on your nails. Also, gold holographic glitter toppers are hard to come by. I prefer gold ones over silver, and I rarely seem them.

Formula: The formula was a bit thick, that could be due to the fact I have a mini bottle. This is does build up, but not to complete opacity. I think this packs more of punch layered.

Price: This can be purchased in the $7 range at Sally's, Ulta, and many e-tailers.

Overall: I really like this glitter topper. It's perfect for the holidays, but it also fills a bit of a void when ti comes to holo toppers. The formula wa a bit on the thick side to my personal liking.

ILNP Champagne Blush

How about we continue the holo trend for another day? I have a ILNP holo to share with you. This one is from the recent fall collection.

Champagne Blush
Champagne Blush is a dusty rose linear holo.

Collection: ILNP Fall 2014

Color: I feel like pinks are disappearing from the nail polish scene. I rarely see them in even mainstream collections anymore. It's hard to make a pink special or different, but a holo pink does the trick. I love how this traditional color was taken up a notch with the holo. It's still feminine and sophisticated, but with a twist.

Formula: This was an easy to use formula. I used 3 coats above.

Price: This is $10 on the ILNP website.

Overall: There are many times I crave understated colors as manis, but I still want a little sparkle. Champagne Blush is perfect for that. It's one of those colors that makes you feel "put together", but not stuffy!

Orly Mirrorball

I have a very popular polish to share with you today from the Orly Sparkle collection--Mirrorball. This is one of those rare finds when it comes to mainstream retail nail polish that's for sure. It's easy to see why Mirrorball got a lot of buzz!

Mirrorball
Mirrorball is a silver linear holo with sparse holograhpic glitter.

Collection: Orly Sparkle Holiday 2014

Color: You rarely find holos of this quality in mainstream brands anymore. This is a bright and beautiful silver holo. The picture speaks for itself here.

Formula: The formula was easy to work, but was a tad bit sheer. I used 3 coats here.

Price: This can purchased in the $7-$8 range at Sally's, Ulta, and online retailers. You rarely find holos priced like this!

Overall: Excellent all around polish. This is such a nice surprise in the mainstream market, and I hope more brands follow suit. The price is great, and this is a definite must have for polish addicts.
